   Groupe de 6 personnes. Première occasion dans ce super établissement. Mes attentes étaient hautes et je fût conquis. Des plats travaillés et bien présentés. Le mélange des arômes était incroyable. De très bons vins pour accompagner nos plats. Ambience parfaite, service parfait et jovial. Définitivement à refaire…

   Excellente soirée au restaurant ! Le service offert par Maxime était tout simplement parfait — attentionné, sympathique et professionnel. La nourriture était délicieuse, en particulier les huîtres érable-jalapeño : charnues, savoureuses, un vrai délice. L’ambiance était agréable, avec une musique présente mais pas trop forte, juste ce qu’il faut pour bien profiter du moment. Je recommande vivement !

   I ate at the bar. The bartender was amazing. Her knowledge not only of the wine and cocktails shown through to the menus. I had a great meal and she even concocted a cocktail to pair with my dessert. The gemelli for an entree and the maple square for dessert are a must try.

   Le Filet is often touted as one of Montreal's best seafood restaurants, but for a place with such a strong reputation, the menu is surprisingly limited—probably the most limited I’ve ever seen. There were maybe three seafood options in the mains, tops, which was disappointing. That said, the best part of the experience was the staff—warm, welcoming, and truly lovely. The ambiance was also a highlight, with a cozy yet upscale feel. We ended up only having starters and had to go elsewhere for dinner due to the lack of options. While it might be great for those who find something they love on the menu, I wouldn’t call it a must-visit for seafood lovers looking for variety.
