   I did not enjoy my experience here. The food was not good - we had one dish that was drastically under cooked and another that was overcooked. After saying something about the food being overcooked the server didn’t seem to care.

   We decided to try LeDu for Valentine’s Day dinner. We were not disappointed! The location is great and the ambience inside is elevated casual and pleasant. Food and cocktails were excellent! The prices for food were great in our opinion. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

   The interior is inviting; dark, intimate and pretty. We waited at least 10 minutes after being seated in a 1/3 full dining room, until one of us actually got up from the table to try to find a server. At last a server came over and told us apologetically that two employees had walked out that evening. We ordered drinks and food right away to be sure our order was put in. I had the ghost rider cocktail which was refreshing but weak. The fried chicken appetizer was crunchy and delectable, though the dipping sauce was sweet and ordinary. Pad Prik Gaeng was just bland (for reference I asked for a 2 in heat) and the beans were pale and dry. My friend had a noodle dish which was fine but unremarkable. We really wanted to love this place, but it did not live up to the great reviews we had read. I hope this was just an off night, but the rest of you will just need to see for yourselves.

   First time here and we enjoyed it. The first impression was very positive. The vibe walking in is really cool and we were seated in a little cutout surrounded by curtains. It felt very private and special. The service was decent, but I wouldn’t say great. Friendly enough, but a bit standoffish. Not super helpful and no suggestions on the menu. The food was pretty solid — not the best Thai food in town IMHO, but good. We had the Thai basil chicken and it was prepared the traditional way with minced chicken, lots of flavor and a fried egg. Very good, although a little bit dry and overcooked. The panang beef dish was a hit and the Shrimp salad was delicious with a nice lime and fish sauce dressing. If I have any complaint about the food, I would say that the portions are exceedingly small for the price. Prices were high for Thai food, for sure, and the quality was generally there, but one expects more if we’re gonna spend that kind of money. We will definitely go back, as the vibe was really cool, and the food was genuinely Thai. I’m not sure the bang for the buck is there, but it’s a good new addition to Roosevelt Row.

    Best new Thai restaurant in the heart of Roosevelt. Cozy and stylish interior. Great food. Easy street parking. Perfect for a work lunch - in and out in 1 hour.
