After waiting several months to get a reservation, we were finally able to check out Leila’s. The ambience is amazing (though not Persian). Both downstairs and upstairs offer a unique dining experience - upstairs is more quiet and intimate, downstairs feels like you’re eating at the Blue Bayou at Disney. The drinks are decent but have way too much ice in them. Service is attentive and friendly but they don’t do much to explain the menu options. We know Persian and middle eastern cuisine so we were fine but I could see this being problematic for people who aren’t familiar. The food… is largely not Persian but a mix of various middle eastern dishes, but for a place that claims to be a Persian dining experience, it misses the mark. For what you are getting it’s also pretty pricey. The same portions would have cost a third of the price at a regular Persian restaurant. It would be nice to have them expand the menu options. We also asked for some extra condiments (they give you three tables spoons for an entire platter) and were told they couldn’t sell them separately… sell ? It’s a tiny dish of sauce…. The Khnafe Sunday was delicious. TLDR: great atmosphere, not authentic Persian, food decent, but overhyped (not their fault).

They seated us more than 20 minutes later than our reservation time, which we arrived early to since there’s a crazy no show fee. After we were seated, we felt that the food was exceptional but the service was generally just slow. It seems that everything works at a relaxed pace here.

We came to celebrate our anniversary. Our server knew about the special occasion and greeted us right away! We were even gifted a special dessert for the occasion. We had the whole fish and it was spectacular! Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

To start, step inside Leila and you're instantly transported to a middle eastern fantasy. Soft lighting, fabrics and material textures bring the space to life with warmth and depth, it's breathtaking. The warmth continued with friendly greetings as we checked into our reservation. We arrived a few minutes early so we did have to wait until our reservation time in which we were promptly seated. Given the popularity of Leila, reservations are strongly recommended. Our server was super nice and very informative in explaining drinks and food. Me being me, I had done some research and already had a sample menu made up of their most popular dishes. So we went with those which included the following: Apps: Salatim platter/ add crudite Falafel Salad: Fire roasted cauliflower Main: Soltani platter Side: Tah dig We asked for these items to be sent out in courses as shown above. However the kitchen had other plans and sent everything except for our main and side. This usually drives me nuts as it can be overwhelming juggling so many dishes all at once. I asked our server about this and he kind of shrugged me off, "that's usually how we do it". I was clear when I asked for courses in which he agreed. Anyways, it was fine and we dealt with it, but something to be aware of when ordering. Food was delicious. Spreads, dips, pickles, breads all insanely good. Roasted cauliflower was a hit however was quite small. Our main and side showed up about half way through our apps and salad, so we had to frantically make room for those. At this point I feel like our server had pretty much checked out. We had dirty plates, no spoons or service ware so we had to flag someone down to help us out. While again, food was delicious, the attention to detail in the service was lost on us. Even with all of the service hiccups, we still had a wonderful time at Leila. I'd certainly come again but next time, I'll control the ordering.

Great food and service. Restaurant is beautiful and we were not rushed at all. Server made great recommendations and was so personable. Ambiance was good overall, although we all agreed that it felt a little Disneyland-ish. Still highly recommend.
