   My Husband & I were so happy to try Les Trois Chevaux for Restaurant Week The service from the moment we arrived was so welcoming.....& then the meal....what a treat .....each dish is served with such care & each course OUTSTANDING. Angie.....during covid we were so lucky to try take out @your previous restaurant(The Beatrice Inn) many times. With each order your private note was so sweet & my husband has yet to have a cassoulet as wonderful as yours (even in France) Les Trois Chevaux is a true gem in the West Village.....Thank-you for a wonderful evening

   The food is magnificent (Chef Angie Mar is all but infallible in my opinion), the service attentive, the room gorgeous. Dinner there is a wonderful way to spend an evening... and a lot of money. We did the $60/person Restaurant Week menu but we added on here and there and still wound up spending a bit of coin. But Chef Mar and the staff try to make sure the splurge is worth it. A wonderful special-occasion place regardless.

   I came here for restaurant week, and was impressed by how chef Angie fuses French cuisine with a Japanese twist. The umami flavors are complimenting and full-bodied, the complex textures melt with every bite. For someone who doesn't typically appreciate foie gras, her Foie Gras "A L'Orange" takes the cake, it melts in your mouth. Thank you for the incredible service and attention to detail, from the inviting yet seductive atmosphere, to each curated dish served on a hot plate.

   Genuinely one of the best nights out I’ve had in years. Shoutout to Domingo, one of the most lovely, interesting and talented bartenders in the city. Can’t recommend enough; very excited to dine here again sometime.

   This is one of the truly fine restaurants left in New York. I can’t say enough about the inventiveness of the food, the quality of the service and the personalization that Angie Mar has been able to create in this lovely jewel box of a space. Certainly there are a few other choices that offer impressive menus, but in my opinion non that couple as high a degree of excellence with the warmth and intimacy that we found here. If you want a special experience Les Trois Chevaux should be on the top of your list.

   Amazing experience! Chef Angie Mar has an outstanding and diligent team. Service and food were extraordinary. We could feel the passion, creativity and technique in all courses of the chef’s menu. The wine pairing was equally creative and surprising, making the whole experience a nice journey of flavors and textures. The spend, I would rather see as an investment on the self. Impressive!

   You'd expect a restaurant of this caliber uptown, but what a surprise to have this little gem right in the West Village -- you just don't find restaurants like this downtown anymore. Chef Angie Mar (of Beatrice Inn fame) has created an elevated tasting menu that will send you soaring to the moon and back. We opted for the four-course pre fixe, and its inventive and luscious ingredients -- tender sweatbreads, velvety veal brains, pheasant rolled around perfect lobster morsels -- will leave you wanting to come back and try everything. The Ossetra caviar and black truffle croissant is well worth the $225 supplement. Adrian the sommelier was gracious and knowledgeable; the wine selections unusual, off the beaten path, and perfectly paired with the cuisine. Chef Angie made an appearance in the tastefully appointed dining room and made a point of stopping to speak at each table. This is fine dining at its absolute best, and fully without pretense or attitude. It'll cost you -- but you won't regret it.

    Having dined in some of the best restaurants in the world we found Les trois Cheveaux a major disappointment. We left feeling like chumps for spending an insane amount of money for underwhelming food. There are too many great choices in NYC and no reason to go here.
