Great food in a perfect setting on a beautiful night. Service could have been better. It was super slow. My vodka martini was way toooo icy!! I’ve yet to have a good vodka martini, extra dry and a little dirty there. It’s a pretty simple drink, in my opinion.

W e took my 85-year-old mom to celebrate her birthday. When we walked in, hostess sat us and said “It will be a while because server has too many tables.” There were 5 tables seated in the whole restaurant. Server finally came over to us, quite unpleasant, didn’t smile once and acted put off by having to serve us. Food came out incorrectly, she forgot half of the items we ordered and when I called her on it, didn’t even look at me but walked away and said her abrupt apology. The hostess had a similar attitude as she was helping to serve as well, but other tables were as disappointed as we were with the service. Our table next to us even said “this is the worst service we’ve ever received and we won’t be back.” We wanted to celebrate with dessert but our server didn’t even give us the choice, she brought the bill, and at that point we were so disgusted, we paid and walked out and went elsewhere for cake and ice cream.

I am used to fine dining but haven't explored a great deal of Albuquerque's best restaurants. It's the best I've experienced to date. Their menu is very good and the preparation also strong if not extensive. I didn't quite understand the concept behind the suckling pig but the pork was good and the sauces and accompaniments very nice. I've also spent decades on the Gulf Coast and experienced seafood from New Orleans to Key West and question the use of breadcrumbs on an otherwise beautifully cooked piece of Pacific Cod. I'm being overly critical as I get the impression that its regulars are less concerned with fine, fine dining and more interested in a very nice dinner staffed with wonderful, personable and helpful employees in a joyful environment. Finally, the decor from hotel lobby to the restaurant interior to an unparalleled view of the mountains and city lights are worth the price of admission. It was a cold and windy evening and nobody was outdoors on the magnificent rooftop but I suspect it is impossible to get a spot there in the summer. Final word of praise, I mistakenly signed my check but they had not, yet, run my credit card. Our server, who earlier learned of a birthday in the party and brought us a menu for a free desert, found me speaking to the maitre de on my way out. She politely and respectfully alerted me of MY mistake, accepted and returned my card with a smile and invitation to return soon. We will.

Absolutely loved this place. Each course was extremely unique and flavorful. Had the cheese fondue appetizer that was amazing. Loved the Ceasar snap salad and the tres talamitos were fantastic. EJ was truly amazing and helpful. Beautiful setting. Favorite place we have been in ABQ

Brunch time at level five is Albuquerque‘s best kept secret. I don’t know why I’m putting in this review because now I’m telling everyone, but every other brunch place in Albuquerque pails in comparison when you look at the quality of food that level five puts out for brunch. Fresh toasted bruschetta avocado toast? Outstanding. Atole, apples, presented stunningly, out of this world! I highly recommend this to other people, but I’d prefer you don’t come when I’m there, as it was so peaceful :)

One of the best dinners my wife and I have had in recent memory. Every course was exceptional - creative, beautifully executed, memorable. The Hudson Valley foie gras and garganelli dish was one of the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had. EJ took excellent care of us. Lovely setting - rooftop terrace with beautiful wrap-around views and elegant indoor dining room. Can’t wait to return!

EJ was our server and guided our experience! From drinks to suggestions on food, his friendly and charismatic demeanor made our night extra special. I highly recommend Level 5, the views are incredible but the overall hospitality is superb. Thank you!
