Lidia's features authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Every item at the restaurant is house-made entirely from scratch with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in-house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh.

Every day Lidia's offers a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas. We also feature many seafood, chicken, pork, and beef options. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs including gluten-free items.

Lidia's is located in the historic Freighthouse-- a beautiful 19th century building. The stunning decor includes three hand-blown chandeliers, a three-story slate fireplace, and cozy, New York style seating.

                                                        Lovely time celebrating my birthday. Even given a piece of cake with a candle & happy birthday on it to celebrate. Waitresses was very helpful and always there when we needed something but not a nuisance. I’d highly recommend Lidia’s.

                                                        Was so excited when I discovered there was a Lidias in Kansas City when searching for fine dining. Had the scallopini and my friend ordered a carbonara they made specially for her. The online menu said that the restaurant had one of my favorite wines - clean slate reisling but it wasn't available while we were there and the reisling they did have I didn't love but OH WELL!!! The food and dessert was amazing! Highly suggest stopping here for anyone who knows and loves Lidias Italy from PBS!
