Italian food is in the top couple in all of San Diego. Tiramisu is the best I’ve had outside of Italy. Only odd thing is that they charge you 3% for using a credit card!! Not sure who’s going to a nice, elevated restaurant and paying cash….

We visited this quaint Italian spot for a girlfriend’s birthday on a Tuesday night. The decor is charming and cozy, perfect for a casual but cute dinner out. Parking wasn’t bad at all, which was a nice surprise. The food was genuinely delicious—everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and the drinks were just as impressive. Definitely a highlight of the night! Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The wait staff was very slow and not very attentive. We had stopped eating, ran out of drinks, and still couldn’t flag anyone down to get our bill. It was frustrating and definitely affected the overall experience. While it’s a solid option for good Italian food, the service would need to improve for us to consider going back. If you're patient and not in a rush, it might still be worth checking out.

This was my second time here. I got the chefs pasta special which they toss in a large parmigiana cheese wheel. The dish is $50 and the first time I had it, it was delicious. They dish was little different the time with sun dried tomatoes which were too strong and overpowered the dish and there were chunks of Parmesan instead of melted Parmesan which also overpowered the dish. I was very disappointed. Also, the service was subpar this time and they were not very attentive and forgot one of our dishes which never made it out. They were not even very busy.

Experience was varied. Waiter incredibly busy and therefore not very attentive. My salad with shrimp was delicious. The chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini was good and not so good. Chicken was tough, but the flavors of the sauce were delicious. It’s also very loud making it difficult for conversation.

So good!! Food was delicious. Service was on point. We shared the burrata appetizer which was a large serving and beyond yummy. Then we had the braised short rib dinner with risotto. Also delicious. We added the broccolini side and the fresh bread with the tummiest truffle butter. It’s not cheap but overall, a decent value for what you get. Will be back soon!

Best dining experience I have had in quite a while. The restaurant was cozy cute and everything from the Limoncello Martini (with a popsicle) to the artichoke and parmesan wheel pasta meal was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to go again! Love it!
