   Our dinner at Lineage Maui was exceptional. The service was outstanding, from our friendly and informative waiter to every server who brought food or drink, to the manager who checked in on us. Their motto, "Eat, Drink, Talk Story" was in evidence in this friendly, family-like atmosphere. But that is all in service to the incredible food and drink. Five stars is not enough.

   Excellent experience. Our server was enthusiastic about the menu and made some suggestions that made our meal even better. Would definitely recommend dining here

   It was good not great. With reservations we were seated late. After seated it was 30 minutes before got our drinks. Joe our server was friendly and offered some good suggestions. He was great and no complaints at all on him. The food was flavorful and interesting. Let me say I would eat there again, but for the price there were some issues I wasn’t anticipating like picking bits of lobster shells out of the noodles or having the inedible woody cores/stems of lettuce in our salad. The noise level is pretty high. You are out side with a concrete wall of the restaurant on one side and a sidewalk and concrete wall of the shopping mall on the other side so the noise just reverberates back and forth. People on the sidewalk are close enough to shake their hand too so it’s a pretty awkward especially when you hear them commenting on your own food or your wife’s anatomy. We opted out on the dessert and grabbed ice cream at the shopping mall instead so can’t say much on that. TIL: food had some issues with preparation, but our server was great. It’s loud and you take a gamble on passers by.

   Booked reservations 5 months ago for our 53rd wedding anniversary last October. Restaurant was aware and acknowledged the special occasion. Restaurant was chosen because of the outstanding reviews. None of our local friends had tried the restaurant. We arrived 5 minutes early for reservation. Hostess had us wait 10 minutes while they prepared our table. We were seated at an outdoor two seat table facing the Shops of Wailea and oncoming foot traffic. We objected but we were told that there would be a longer wait for another table. We did not realize that this restaurant is ideally suited for families sharing dishes. We decided to share the Korean Fried chicken with Jalapeño-Garlic Finadene sauce and the Garlic Szechuan Noodles. Wine list is limited. Our server was very attentive and the food arrived within 10 minutes. Both dishes were very good and substantial in size. We passed on dessert however the restaurant provided a complimentary coconut sorbet. Prices were very reasonable. The ambiance looking out at a shopping mall sitting on hard metal chairs negatively affected our evening. Great place for a family wanting to share good quality food. Not a good place to celebrate special occasions.

    For a higher end dining experience really recommend. Got the Waygu and talk about perfection. Just melted in my mouth. Destiny at the bar was incredible and the mai tais spot on. Will definitely go back.
