   We celebrared our anniversary here. The food and service was incredible! The cocktails are amazing and there wasn’t a single thing that we ordered that we didn’t love. The portions were the perfect size to allow you to try multiple things and everything tasted so fresh and elevated. Will definitely be coming back!

   Incredible atmosphere by Guy Fiore. We sat at the chefs table and it was “chefs kiss”! Highly recommend

   The food and service was pretty exceptional, however the 20% service fee and credit card processing were a bit excessive. Those things alone make me not want to go back.

   James, Thank you for coming in. I'm so glad you enjoyed and we'd love to have you back. We've had a ser charge on since we opened so our staff do not rely on tips and to enable us to provide living wages, health benefits and PTO to the whole team. This takes the place of tipping which is a model we'd like the industry to move away from. You are not expected to tip in addition. Folks who do typically leave an add'l 3-5%. The CC fee was added in March '23 when rates went up for the third time since we'd re-opened post-pandemic. It's not a perfect solution but we like letting guests know where their money is going. We've also recently lowered our a la carte menu prices and extended Happy Hour to help provide more value. Hope that makes some sense. Take care, Adam Orman, Co-Owner

   2nd time here, had a much better experience the last time around, vegetarian menu was limited to one pasta dish this time, one of the pitfalls of a rotating menu. Tiramisu is still the best item on the menu!

We have just started to expand the a la carte menu so there will be two more pastas typically and of the 4 that we'll offer, it's likely that 3 of them will be vegetarian.    Food made from scratch is tough to beat! Great meal but the restaurant atmosphere wasn’t my favorite. We still enjoyed it very much, especially when the series of servers shared their knowledge with us. Service was fantastic.

   This was my second visit and it was fantastic. The service, food and beverages were top notch. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. Don’t miss out on this amazing restaurant!!!

   We have been long-time customers of L'Oro D'Oro. We were excited that they survived Covid We hadn't been there in sometime and were excited to visit this evening, learning of the new fixed-menu format. Whereas the food was good, we felt it was a bit light-- I left hungry! The portions were quite small, period. The appetizer and first dishes were tasty, however the pasta and meat entree were franky very, very small. The Lamb entree was one small piece, one mere piece of lamb-- period! We hadn't been there in a while, and I'm unsure it's worth returning. Too many choices in Austin. To spend over $200 bucks, at minimum you'd walk away not having to stop at P Terry's on the way home. Disappointing.

    We had a good time. We ordered the chef tasting menu, since the a la cart menu was extremely small and didn’t offer options. The overall menu was very different from what we expected for an Italian restaurant. The plates were well prepared but for a tasting menu I thought that the were too big.
