The decor is like a restaurant in NY, Melbourne or Europe and they have added detail with sophistication yet it appears simple and sleek lines with subtle lighting that gives a great atmosphere. There are different areas to sit from the bar to lounge, table seating or a small outdoor area.

    Upon entering, the ambience was striking. Locale is quite a large restaurant but remarkably intimate at the same time, accommodating both large groups and couples such as ourselves. The food was impeccable with our favourite being the anchovies for entree. Our seconde pasta meals were also a delight. Most impressive was the service: the staff were knowledgeable, helpful, attentive but discreet. We did not think twice about leaving a tip. What a delightful experience. Dining at Locale will be at the top of our list when we next visit Noosa.

    Please serve sides at the same time as the mains getting 3/4 through the mains and having to wait for the sides isn’t probably what I would expect from your restaurant, Sorry bit harsh. Yes we are coming back food is amazing and loved the desserts, presentation and taste was great.

    The restaurant was very accomodating when I had to change dates and alter the booking. However, there was an issue with the wine ordering. The prices on the wine menu are only for half the bottle, which is very misleading and not clear. We did not realise that all the wine menu was like this, and the staff did not once explain this to us. When the wine came out, they didn’t mention it or even serve the full bottle in carafs (which is what I would assume you would serve a half bottle). As we paid we didn’t understand why our wine was twice the cost and thought they had made an error. I have never been to a restaurant where they only serve half bottles of wine!! We felt ripped off and felt it was all very misleading. The staff were very rude and dismissing of us when we tried to question it. Will never go back again.
