Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold. Everything that was supposed to be cold was warm. Just go across the street if you want fine dining. This is a bar.

I took clients to Loch Bar. The experience was amazing. Chef Quincy Logan went over the top. The food was amazing and having the chef come to the table to explain the food we were about to eat elevated the experience. The server staff was on point and very attentive. We will definitely be back!!

Our reservation was unfortunately immediately following Happy Hour. The bar was crowded and noisy, right next to the tables. The service was excellent and the seafood was quite good as well. But the quantities were small and the prices high. My salad would have been at home in a diner. The wine was very expensive. Overall, not good value.

Fabulous food, service and ambience. Second time back - highly recommend roasted oysters! Although everything I have tasted is delicious. Compliments to the Chef - truly talented.

We have eaten at Loch Bar several times before and decided to treat out-of-town friends to a nice dinner. Although the restaurant was not crowded, after waiting over 5 min our server apologetically approached our table and not until 30min later did we receive our drink order. The service and attention to our needs went downhill from there. Every comment or request seemed to be replied to with opposition or deflection. "If you have any problems please address your concerns to the manager" - which we promptly did. Appetizers arrived without side plates for sharing, meals arrived before plates were cleared, dinners were delivered without silverware and left to get cold while waiting. Meal orders, which were given several times to the server, were prepared incorrectly. Thankfully, the food runner was the only pro-active staff member who quickly, and without complaining, remedied the situation. The manager attempted to apologize however the damage had already been done. Loch Bar is not inexpensive; quite the opposite! Extremely expensive food warrants a properly trained staff - at the very least. Even if the food was prepared properly (which it wasn't) and tastes great, an inefficient, dismissive, un-attentive and somewhat combative server can ruin everyone's dining experience. It certainly ruined ours - we won't return to Loch Bar. Fortunately Philadelphia has several other "fine dining" places where we can spend $350!

The Loch Bar was everything I expected. The food was well seasoned the waiter was accommodating & had really great suggestions. I will returned for the fired lobster tails & crab cakes.
