   For my first time dining at Lola Rose I strongly enjoyed the experience. My mom and sister were visiting me in California and even though the menu was a bit adventurous for them they loved it. The food was wonderfully fresh and innovative, presentation was beautiful, and our service from Aaron was outstanding. Definitely get a Petite or even Grand Mezze to try multiple dishes, and the mango dessert is a must order!

   Enjoyed brunch on the patio with good food and service. The Wagyu burger and lamb kebab were delicious. The seasoned fries are the best!

   We took Modernism Week business associates here - as returning customers we expected a better experience. We were sat in a back room by a storage room door where there was no ambiance like in the bar or main dining area. Empty walls, empty shelving, it was not the “vibe” they advertise. I basically faced a blank wall. When I asked if we could be reseated the host/hostess was rude and condescending. Obviously they treat Open Table people and locals as less important. The food and service were very good but did mot make up for a disappointing experience. Save this place for the tourists and wanna be influencers. So many better restaurants in town.

   An incredible gem in the fabulous Thompson Hotel. The ambiance, service and food was incredible. A real treat!

   This is our second time here and it was just as delicious as the first. We did the Petite Mezza (sp?!) which is a lot of food. The flavors are not just your basics. They pop with freshness and intensity. Advice—a lot of food comes fast. Ask them to pace the meal, and ask for serving spoons before the servers disappear! Great cocktails, too. There was a super singer in the lounge. She enhanced the experience.

   Made a reservation for 715, hostess apologized and informed us they were behind schedule and offered champagne while we waited: then she disappeared and never brought the champagne. We had to get it from the bartender, checked in on our reservation several times and never were seated. After an hour of waiting we just left and told the hostess we waited too long to which she replied she forgot about us. This is the 2nd time I’ve made a reservation here with this type of experience. They have many things to work out if they want to survive in this restaurant.

    Great service and the modern Mediterranean decor is stunning. Absolutely loved our meal and everything we had.The octopus was cooked to perfection. And their cocktails are super tasty. Coming back again for sure!
