   Beautiful space and buzzy big energy. Sort of the opposite of low key Palm Springs but that’s fine. The food was absolutely terrible though- we had five different items and two drinks and all of them were not good. The food was cold, average at best, and overall just not up to the standard of the room itself. Weird soggy cold chicken wings, undercooked swordfish-ugh! Would never go back.

   What can I say. I was so looking forward to a memorable experience at Lola Rose - from what I had heard it should have been. The service was atrocious, the food (even though we all had the same thing - fried chicken sandwich), my guests' chicken was tough, mine was fine, the service was atrocious - I had ordered a glass of chardonnay, waited and waited, finally I asked the host who came by if they were stomping the grapes. The lunch menu was somewhat limited - asked to see the dinner menu - much more options - did I say that the service was atrocious. Will try to convince myself to give the restaurant another try - this time for dinner

   First, the food was amazing. The chef and his team have created a menu which is flavorful and nicely presented, with an abundance of variety. Also, our server (Scott N.) was amazing. Very professional and courteous, with full knowledge of the menu. However, upon entering this two-month-old restaurant we were a little taken aback by the noise. It is loud, and full of people. There is a lounge section and a dining section (outside area not open yet), we went to the dining section. However, we were seated 15 minutes late because the front desk is not organized. There were three hosts going back and forth and no one in charge. The music in the lounge is a D.J. but he was playing music which is good for a much younger crowd. Also, it permeated into the dining area---loud and obnoxious. Just not good dining music. We will not be going back for a few months until it calms down.

   Disorganized check in experience. Otherwise, the food is ok, but the nose level is high. Prices are expensive.

   Worst experience ever! Reservation was at 6:30. We arrived early. Told us to sit and they would find us. Never came over. Went to the host 3 times and she wouldn’t even apologize after wait 45 minutes past our reservation. When we finally got a manager she sat us in a back room and there were plenty of tables on the main floor. We ordered drinks and we had to remind our waiter 3 times. Food was just OK. We came home hungry after the waiter said what we ordered was more than enough. Not going back. Horrible experience and not even an apology.

   This is a beautiful new restaurant in Palm Springs. If you make reservations, just make sure that you let them know you want to sit in the main area so you’re not put in a back room. We happen to be put in a back room. Not my favorite place to be in a new restaurant that I’ve never been to before we asked about the table and were told that it would be a very long wait even with the reservations that we had to sit in the other area, I’m not sure what arrangements those people made, but I will be clear next time not to be sitting in the private room area off of the main dining room Not the same experience…
