Oysters from PEI, delicious...Ivy is a wonderful shucker! Donnie is a great bartender...excellent Manhattans,one bourbon and one rye. Fried shrimp and fried oyster appetizers were perfect! Really good coleslaw. Once again, a super place to get "welcomed back" to the Isle of Palms...FYI, best on the beach!

We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food and service were outstanding. The tables were too close together for our liking but it was Valentine’s Day. However we would return as everything was great with the exception of the close quarters.

We ordered 3 different lunch entrees plus 1 dessert to share as we were celebrating a birthday. All food items were very tasty. Our server was friendly, attentive and efficient. We were not rushed to give up our table as we lingered over dessert and conversation among lunchmates. It was a very pleasant luncheon experience with friends.

We usually enjoy this restaurant. On this visit the waitress was rushed. At the end of the meal she never offered coffee or desert. Just inquired how the checks should be divided. The food was underwhelming. The salmon was overcooked and dry. The flounder was bland. It will be a while before I return.

The restaurant was short staffed and the girl really was doing her best. My main issue was the fried oysters and scallops were Luke warm at best. The sweet potato fries were hot but not the seafood. That's not a big issue except for the fact that they were fried which I like piping hot. The oysters had very good flavor but I was expecting the large platter to have more seafood for the price. It's too bad because I have recommended Long Island Cafe to many clients. Too many great restaurants to have a meh experience.
