Very quiet dining experience in a beautiful historical area of Macon. Plenty of street parking, with a nice grassy park to walk after dinner. There were pictures on the wall from the old textile mill that was there back in the day… it would have been nicer if it wasn’t so modern, though. We were seated promptly and given water. The waitress was polite and genuinely friendly, but was overloaded with the four dining tables. We ordered the grouper with citrus sauce; fresh and bright, but did not like the old breakfast potatoes it was served with. The other entree was 1/2 roasted chicken cooked beautifully. The sides Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes… not so good. The bartender needs to be replaced. Slow watered down cocktails were disappointing. We enjoyed the food, but the service was unacceptable. We would not return again if in Macon area.

Loom offers a pleasant dining experience with some room for improvement. During my visit, the salmon was slightly overcooked, which was a minor disappointment. However, the restaurant made a commendable substitution for the sold-out Chef's choice Filet with a delectable hanger steak, showcasing their flexibility and commitment to customer satisfaction. The attentive waiter and proactive management, who checked on our table frequently, contributed to a positive overall experience.

Food was good. Service was subpar. Waited a while before receiving menus and water. Was told there wasn’t a kids menu, then while ordering, a hostess appeared with a kids menu. We never got our appetizer, but our food was good. Second visit here and service is still lacking. But a beautiful restaurant!

The restaurant is under staffed so service is not prompt but the staff was hustling to make sure the food was delivered when ready

We were late for our reservation- my own fault and horrific construction traffic. The Assistant Food and Beverage manager Sophia went above and to see that we had an excellent dinner and made it to the concert! The wait staff and bartender are excellent. The collards with duck are a must try. We will be back!

Very nice experience. Food and service was excellent. The rooftop bar is a plus. They need a better solution for parking. $15 to park for dinner is excessive

Cute little restaurant in historic downtown Macon, GA. Service was on par. Sausage was probably the best I have ever eaten. The hot syrup compliments it well. Just enough crunch and delicious and flavorful with a hint of heat that the syrup takes away. The french toast was good but could have been better. It mainly tasted like bread and was not eggy enough to be french toast. The orange sauce and fresh blueberries made this taste good. Just not great. I would try this restaurant again and get something else. The sausage though is a must!

We enjoyed eating at Loom. Food was excellent. My husband swears it’s the best steak in Macon. The steak was great along with the sides. We did order the mac & cheese. It came out cold at first, but they made it right the second time. It was delicious. Definitely will be visiting again :)
