Lot Bar and Restaurant is a family run business offering freshly prepared food from 8am until 10pm daily. Whether you are looking for an informal breakfast or light lunch with friends or a 3 course celebration dinner in the evening or simply a drink in the bar after work, we have the best to offer locally.
We at Lot Bar and Restaurant take pride the quality of our ingredients, the high standard of presentation and excellent service. A seasonally changing breakfast and lunch menu offers everything you could want from a kitchen and our evening A la carte menu includes restaurant favourites as well as daily changing specials. On Sunday afternoons we offer the best Roast available. Our wine list, available from 11am, is curated by us to include the faithful, the unusual and the interesting.

    My friends & I visited the restaurant following a hike round Shenfield & I cannot rate the venue high enough. Food was delicious and service was friendly & efficient, definitely highly recommend !

    Fabulous afternoon/evening. Really friendly and attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere. Grazed on food for quite a few hours and finished off with lovely cocktails. Really lovely venue.

    Starters was great (halloumi fries & brisket croquettes) however mains was mediocre at best. Katsu chicken burger I could've made better from ingredients from my freezer and the "Asian slaw" was nothing but a soggy piece of ribboned carrot. Presentation was close to abysmal. The mojitos tasted like dish water, with no syrup and no alcohol. Basically just heavily limed water. After being charged £10.50 for the pleasure, we were almost told off for asking if the mojitos were a mocktail (they were a mocktail on the menu but we'd asked for an alcoholic version). We were sat next to the adjoining doors to the bar where the DJ set was placed so we couldn't have a conversation without shouting. Service was okay.

    I enjoyed a lovely lunch with two friends. The service was great with friendly staff. There was a pleasant atmosphere in comfortable surroundings and we didn't feel hurried at all. We will definitely be back.

    Always enjoy a visit to The Lot, Shenfield. Bar staff, ambience, waitress, food, all very good. Never disappointed.
