Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

    The food is excellent. Best Thai food in Las Vegas. It is however a bit on the right side taste level wise. Not vegan friendly.

    Great food and very attentive staff - particularly when one of our party had a soy allergy! My favorites - the garlic fried prawns and the crispy rice appetizer "medium-high" spice!

    The food is overrated and came out lukewarm. There are many more incredible options in LA and otherwise but it is decent for Las Vegas

    Went there for a birthday celebration. Had a great time. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The environment was excellent. Group of 8 and all had a great time.

    Dinner was good. Not as good as I expected. The. The noodle’s we ordered were not very hot(temperature). The soup as well but it has great flavor

    Amazing food and atmosphere, very loud so hard to talk during busy hour but once it slowed down the ambiance is perfect. Brought Hawaii friends here and we had fun plus the staff didn’t kick us out once everyone else was gone. They let us enjoy! We were a party of 9 so they automatically included tip but we gave a touch more for letting us chat just a little longer. Although they were still open from 9-10pm they did clean up while we were in there talking but I don’t think anyone in our party minded. Def will visit again. Lifetime memories ❤️
