We went to Lou’s for the Deep Dish, Butter Crust Pizza. Honestly, it was just OK. Felt like the layers of sauce and cheese were both about half of what I remember. So my Pizza was mostly Crust and Toppings.

Decor dated and bare bones. Not a good first impression of ambiance. We had reservations at 6pm. Seated quickly which was nice. Out of a specific liquor for a drink order. At 8pm, the staff started putting all the chairs up on the tables around us as if they were closing while we were still talking. Some friends and I had a little holiday dinner and we were exchanging gifts but cut it short and fast. Hours said you close at 10pm on Sundays. It was the most uncomfortable and inappropriate way to force people out.

We pre-ordered our deep dish pizza thinking it would be ready shortly after we arrived, but that didn’t happen. They put the pizza in the oven after we confirmed it at the table the order was correct. THEN, THE PIZZA CAME OUT BURNED AND DRY! NOT GOOD!
