Conveniently set on Louisiana Street in North Park, our design of this intimate cocktail restaurant was inspired by the charm &; character of New Orleans, with creative touches of personal effects giving guests the feeling of warmth, community & fun
Architect Jeff Svitak helped create a modern interpretation of a classic French Quarter restaurant, introducing elements of wood, marble &; rich velvet. Our lush patio seating flows seamlessly into our indoor dining space, a nod to the courtyards found across the beautiful southern city.
Our rotating food menu will be dedicated to only the best seasonal ingredients, featuring big &; bold flavors from the region. Food was excellent but the steaks were pretty pricey as were the side dishes. Open air dining area was pretty cold to sit at. Service was very good.

Food was incredible. Super rich and very tasty. We ordered 2 holiday drinks, catfish etoufee, gumbo with a side order of catfish. Our table in the middle of the small room, facing the bathroom, and my seat had a full view of the toilet with the lights on during the entire meal. Not sure why they don’t have that covered by a curtain or have a door that actually swings closed. Our server was entertaining a lady at the bar during our meal so he was half present. Asked us if we wanted dessert, gave us the options, said he’d come back in 1 minute to take our order. We were ready to order the beignets but in the middle of us ordering he says “desserts going to have to wait until tomorrow because the kitchen is closed.” First of all, why didn’t you tell the kitchen how many dessert tables you have left. Secondly, why didn’t you give us a warning before the kitchen closed. Third, admit you’re wrong before you cut us off as we try to order dessert. I’ve been working in restaurants for the last 7 years, with this price point you gotta do better man. Wack.

We’ve been here a few times before and loved it. The menu this time was shorter, and drink specialties and presentation were not very good. It’s still good, but not great as earlier- I’m kind of sad!

Good was very spicy and a bit pricey. And they did not have the alcohol any longer to make the holiday menu drink I ordered!

Date of visit: 12/15/24. We perused the menu before making a reservation since there seem to be enough gluten-free options for one of our party members. Unfortunately, we had a 7 PM reservation and by then many of the menu items were sold out. It’s already a pretty small menu, so that greatly diminished our options We ordered the ACME oysters, which had great flavor, but a few of them had shards of shell accidentally mixed in. It is not pleasant to bite into shell, obviously. We also ordered the shrimp and grits, and while the menu is clear to note that five shrimp will come in the dish, we imagined them being bigger shrimp. These were pretty measly shrimp—maybe a size or two above popcorn shrimp. The grits were not tended to during cooking, because they were SUPER lumpy. I’m talking some gumball size lumps in there—not pleasant. Again, for the price paid, we definitely were hoping for a higher quality meal. the ambience was great, the music added to the cool vibe, and the service was adequate. But all of those strengths don’t make up for a lackluster meal. Unfortunately, I don’t think that we will be returning… But for sure I will ask somebody to bring home an order of biscuits if I know they’re there. Those are amazing! Pricey, but good!

Everything was good. The food was amazing. I had the Rasta Pasta. Big succulent shrimp in oxtail stew with ribbon pasta . The servers were very kind and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back
