A mystical and alluring place to enjoy forgotten classics and rediscover the lost charm of conversation, LOUIX LOUIS soars 31 floors above the glittering skyline atop The St. Regis Toronto. Inspired by Toronto’s heritage as one of the largest distillery districts in the world during the turn of the 19th century, the dramatic interior is designed to represent the inside of a glistening crystal whiskey glass, each sip revealing a new layer of discovery. At the heart of the restaurant is the glamorous two-story-high grand bar showcasing over 500 dark spirits – one of the largest collections in North America.

We were slightly disappointed with the service here. The royal brunch is great value for the money but a cappuccino was $9 and a virgin mimosa was $15. We ordered virgin mimosas initially and when asking for a second one the waiter brought us alcoholic ones by accident. We didn’t feel like that sort of mistake was acceptable for such a high end place.

Overall mediocre experience. Service level was not reflective of the price point. Drinks were good but not excellent. Tables very crowded together. Atmosphere is nice, but the whole place feels like it’s trying to hard to be luxe without actually achieving it.

A wonderful evening, food was divine - the crispy brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious! Cocktails were perfect - dirty martini's with gin/vodka combo and blue cheese olives and smoked old fashions. The only criticisms would be to present the smoked old fashions at the table for the smoked affect show and perhaps advise the clientele that extra olives are an additional cost. All in all, it was great.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at LOUIX LOUIS, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff was exceptionally polite and attentive, making us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations. They were also incredibly patient and allowed us to savour each course without feeling rushed, which was perfect for our romantic evening. And then there was the food. The quality was outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. We especially enjoyed the NY Steak. It was evident that the chefs used fresh, high-quality ingredients and carefully prepared each plate. The restaurant's ambiance was also perfect for a romantic night out. The soft lighting, comfortable seating, and atmosphere created a cozy and intimate setting. We felt relaxed and able to truly enjoy each other's company. Louix Louis exceeded our expectations in every way. The exceptional service, delicious food, and a romantic atmosphere made for a truly special evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and grateful for the wonderful experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, especially for a romantic occasion or a business dinner. We will definitely be returning soon.
