   Unfortunately we didn’t have the best time at Love Shack. We had a booking and waited to be sat - we were waiting about 15 minutes before someone spoke to us or even acknowledged us. We then waited another 20 minutes to be asked for our order (of which the items we wanted were sold out). It then took 50 minutes for our food to arrive - of which one of the dishes was missing an item. Our drinks had to be drunk before the food came or they would have been stone cold. Generally the service was poor but it mainly seemed due to lack of organisation / potentially keeping up from a busy lunch shift & we would have been fine with it if we were told the wait on food / apologised to at any point. The food was tasty & the girl who served us was super sweet however it would have been nice to have been acknowledged especially since there were only a few tables sat. Will try again in the future as they do have good vegan dishes & hope that it was just a bad day.

   I admit I was a little sceptical when I booked a table at Love Shack: vegan food isn't normally what I go for. But my wife is coeliac and we saw it was good for gluten free so thought we would try it with a couple of friends. I was really impressed: the food was very good (I had the ramen, as did my wife), plenty of gluten free beers to choose from, and it's a fun, quirky space. It was a Monday night so relatively quiet, which I like, although there was still a nice buzz. My only comments were that the food took quite a long time to come, but this wasn't a big issue as we weren't in any rush; and the choice of desserts was limited after the weekend as well. But the staff were helpful and friendly, so such things are easily forgiven! We also asked to see the function room after our meal as we kept seeing people disappearing behind a bookcase: it is a really nice space and I'm sure would work well for small events. A really good discovery.

   I had the french toast and chaga cacao drink which were both delicious. I love bringing friends to Loveshack and love the range of vegan brunch options and drinks here. Great service and great atmosphere.

   Delicious and delicious. Mushroom risotto made with locally sourced ingredients. Tofu karage and buffalo “wings” were so filling. Cocktails are inventive and tasty.

   Loved this place. It was my first time eating here and definitely won’t be the last. I brought a friend who wasn’t used to vegan food. We had the risotto and the ramen. Both utterly delicious. Great kitsch and quirky furnishings, cosy lighting snd staff were brilliant - super helpful and friendly.

   Always a dream. The portion sizes are what make this place so incredible. Love the tempeh ceaser salad. And the desserts! Lots of love gang! Marina and Ross
