Join us for a special evening celebrating the best of French wine. You’ll taste three carefully selected wines that capture the spirit and tradition of France’s most iconic regions. As part of the experience, you’ll also have the rare opportunity to meet one of the winemakers, hear their story firsthand, and learn what makes their wine truly unique. It’s a relaxed, welcoming way to deepen your love of wine—and discover something new along the way. Three Great Wines, One Memorable Evening. Enjoy the freedom to choose your own meal from our full dinner menu, featuring fresh, scratch-made dishes crafted by our award-winning chefs. Add the wine tasting experience to your evening and explore three exceptional French wines while you dine. Clara Vie Blanquette de Limoux – a refreshing bubbly brut to start your evening off right. Domaine la Berthète Côtes-du-Rhône Les Pierrügues – deftly balanced fruit, spice, and a texture that begs to be slowly sipped and savored. Chateau Grand Francais Grande Cuvée – Ruby robed, this wine expresses sophisticated aromas of Morello cherries, vanilla, and spices; after aerating for a few moments, the nose develops deeper fruit compote flavors, creating a harmonious complexity. A composed yet ample attack resolves to earthy fresh black and dried red fruit flavors graced with delicate floral elements, building to a handsomely well-incorporated woodiness and structure before settling into a long, dark, and contemplative finish. Meet Winemaker Patricia Feraud. Patricia is committed to preserving the family legacy and producing world-class wines with modern, eco-friendly farming practices.  With a deep passion for viticulture and a diverse background in the industry, Patricia is well-positioned to lead the Chateau in the coming years. Prior to her time in the wine industry, Patricia studied Law, receiving her degree from the Université d’Agen.  This academic foundation equipped her with the analytical abilities and comprehensive understanding of territorial dynamics needed to manage vineyards. Patricia has played virtually every role at the winery in her time at Chateau Grand Francais: directing seasonal vineyard operations, supervising teams, overseeing all aspects of quality assurance at the winery, and developing new aromatic profiles that faithfully reflect the unique terroir of Chateau Grand Francais. Patricia’s future goals include strengthening the Château’s position in emerging markets, continuing to innovate production practices, and promoting the values of organic and sustainable viticulture globally.

I have been a fan of the Lucky Hare, and it has been our favorite restaurant near Big Canoe since it opened. But yesterday was not up to my past experience. First, the noise level was deafening. We had trouble hearing others at our table, the noise level was so great. And lots of trouble understanding the server. Then the food came out. It was good, but such small portions. I left hungry! There were only four scallops on the scallop dish. And no vegetables were provided with the entrees. I guess they are trying to increase revenue by compelling you to order a side. Most restaurants will provide a vegetable of some sort with their entrees. My wife ordered the chicken dish, and it was more than plenty, but still no vegetable or starch. Just two pieces of chicken on a plate! I hope they do better on our next visit, and we will schedule our time there for 5:30 to have some peace during our meal....

Although we had to wait about 15 minutes, even though we had reservations, it was very nice to be at the bar with tv’s and golf channels. The bar tender is wonderful and very upbeat. Our table was perfect and dinner delicious. The server suggested we ask the chef to add extra cream to the sauce on our entree to make it mild spicy. It was fabulous!

Disappointed in the trout & grits entree. Very little trout - 3 bites. Tasty but minuscule. Salad very nice.

Our bartender, Sophia and server, Chloe were exceptional. The atmosphere is mountain chic and casual. Delicious trout but would have loved a larger portion of fish for the cost. We will definitely be back.

Food was good, portions were average. Service was good. Only one small complaint, our martinis were a very small pour for the money. Overall good experience, but a little on the pricey side.

What a lovely experience. Sunday brunch and Chloe made the day memorable. The omelette, coffee and protein burger along with atmosphere , a smile and nice crowd. FYI , we have dinned numerous times and never had anything but a very positive experience. Its sad that the Big Canoe area has such a limited restaurant scene but the Hare makes up for it.

This was NOT. A good experience - the hostess was rude and not accommodating, our waiter, didn’t introduce himself so don’t know his name but it’s a short guy with glasses- feel like he just dropped from another galaxy and was not sure what he was doing there. Not knowledgeable and not helpful. The noise level was very loud so I ended with sore throat from yielding at my guests. The food was tasteless and mediocre. I hope lucky hare elevates their game. I live in Big Canoe and there is a lot of chatter on the community about lucky Hate declining service. The only person that really gets it is Sarah, one of the waitress we had once/ she make the experience much Better.

Great service, many choices on the menu. Smash burgers were great. Pork chops were very good. We thought this was a trout area. The amount of trout in the meal (4) very small pieces, was disappointing ! Great atmosphere!
