Lucky Tiger Asian Bistro is Charlestown’s newest and coolest addition to the emerging
“Restaurant Row” in Hood Park located at 100 Hood Park Drive. Lucky Tiger joins the street
that already includes neighborhood staple Tradesman Coffeeshop & Pizza Bar, the
powerhouse entertainment venue Urban Wild, and the seasonal festivals including Wicked
Haunt Fest and Winter Fest. “I can’t believe how much there is to do here now! My friends
and I can park for free for 3 hours and just bounce around and experience so many different
but cool concepts,” said Rachael a visitor from Somerville.
Lucky Tiger mixes a modern Asian hip vibe, funky cocktails, along with classic inspired dishes
from many regions of Asia. The fancy backdrop sets the scene, quirky and playful artwork
highlighted by the giant Lucky Tiger sitting in a Bathtub that creates a chill but lucky vibe
and a great social media moment.

When it said it was Asian cuisine we thought Asian culture in the restaurant, and the video from instagram looks different from the actual place bartender was a little standoffish in the beginning he made great drinks I can’t lie And the menu needs more options it’s Asian cuisine

Great food, drink, and atmosphere at Lucky Tiger. Well worth the hour drive in from the suburbs. Would definitely go back. Loads of parking in the garage as well.

The ambiance is pretty, but the food is actually inedible. The scallion pancakes tasted like they were frozen prior to being cooked in a toaster oven. The dumplings were terrible and the crab rangoons tasted like they didn’t even have crab in them. The salmon roll was ok, and the fried rice was disgusting. We left the restaurant having barely eaten any of our food. The other half of the restaurant is a brunch spot during the day which is very confusing because there are signs and decor for the brunch restaurant in Lucky Tiger. Please do not waste your time and money here

We tried Spicy Tuna roll, Pho beff Sate and onion pancake, to food I gave 3 starts, ingredients don’t taste right on last 2, definitely wasn’t enough salt in both… sushi would fall apart easily and felt too fatty, to much mayonnaise. Atmosphere is nice. Stuff is nice, if they asked how was food we would have given them feedback as well, but seems they wasn’t interested in that. Nothing personal, we came here on suggestion from another friend who liked actually food here, well as they say there is no argument on food taste…

Food was not great. We ended up leaving full plates on the table. Scallion pancakes were doughy, chicken skewers were over cooked and salty, garlic noodle was straight garlic and oil, pho noodles soup could have been good if the used the right noodles ( it made no sense).

Overall, everything was excellent! The ribs were tender, but also crispy on the outside with great flavor. Scallion pancakes were thin enough, but not over fried with a tasty dipping sauce. Teriyaki chicken skewers, garlic edamame, and crab Rangoon were all delicious! I would say all of the appetizers are worth getting and sharing because we didn’t have one bad bite. Would definitely come back again with friends

The sushi was good but the port + noodles and PokeBowl were not great. Not bad but not great

The food was mediocre. The edamame was soooo mushy and overcooked, the Dan Dan Noodles were not spicy nor did they taste like any dan dan noodles I've ever had.
