Lumen Detroit at Beacon Park offers a unique dining experience in the heart of the city, blending modern architecture with a vibrant park setting. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling retractable windows and one of Detroit's largest outdoor patios, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor ambiance. Guests can enjoy seasonally inspired Modern American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive bar selection, whether on the rooftop or by the cozy outdoor firepits. With its lively atmosphere and picturesque views of Beacon Park, Lumen is the perfect spot for any occasion.

We offer valet parking for $15 Wednesday-Sunday. There is also metered street parking available on a limited basis. Please note that reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which they are subject to cancelation. We allot 2 hours per table for dining, after which we may ask for your table. Due to the possibility of inclement weather our patio tables are available on a first-come first-served basis.

    Always a great time at Lumen! I wish the outside seating bubbles weren't $30/per person but I do like sitting there better than inside because it's too loud.

    Our meal was wonderful. We had the pork belly for an appetizer.The Chilean sea bass was excellent . My husband had the Walleye . We were disappointed that the bread pudding was no longer on the menu; however, we had the crème brûlée cheesecake. The crème brûlée was the perfect amount and complimented the cheesecake wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet meal, this is not the place . The entire building is glass, so expect a higher noise level if you are sitting on the dining side. The restaurant was quite loud , but expected given the design of the restaurant. The bar side did appear to be quieter than the dining side . Valet parking was available. We had a great experience with valet parking .

    The food was very good and exactly what we were looking for ! Not the best dining area, the restaurant decor was basic but the food and service was exceptional. Great spot for a simple date night or any occasion.

    Riley was an excellent server. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We had walleye which was cooked to perfect and also shrimp Florentine. Riley suggested it blackened and we really enjoyed that as well

    Rihanna was our server & she was wonderful! Friendly and accommodating. Our party of 8 was overly pleased with all of our food & cocktails. Highly Recommend Lumen & can’t wait to return!
