    Lure has always been one of my favourite restaurants in Victoria. I bring friends here for the whole package: food, stellar service, ambience, views, did I mention the service?!

    We were a group of 5. Started with happy hour appetizers which were generous in their sizeand very tasty. Entrees too were a decent sized, served hot and also quite tasty. I asked for med rare steak and it was done just right. Best of all, was our server Lindsay - she provided friendly and efficient service. We all had the Pot De Creme for dessert - so delish!! All around, a great dining experience at Lure.

    We were a party of four and did the WinterLURE 6 course dining experience. It was excellent from the moment we walked through the door. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional. The Service was excellent. Above all the food was out of this world. Every course was deliocious and timed perfectly. It was a near 3 hour dining experience that we will repeat.

    One of the nicest places in Vic to “Happy Hour” with gorgeous views of the harbour. Prices are a little high and the menu hasn’t changed in quite awhile. It would be nice to see new options quarterly for the locals

    We booked the dome on the patio at LURE for New Year's Eve dinner. We arrived a bit early and so we sat at the bar. It was a really nice atmosphere. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. When our table was ready we were escorted outside to the patio. The domes are a fun experience. It was chilly but there was an overhead heater and blankets. It's a bit hard to see the beautiful view through the plastic dome, but it was still fun. It was a fixed menu to choose from. We shared the peppers to start but we both got an very hot (spicy) one, so our server asked if we wanted the potato appetizer instead. This was very good of her to allow us to switch appies. The potato appie was delicious. I ordered the scallops for my second appetizer and it did not disappoint. My husband had the burrata with bread and it was amazing. I had trout for my main and it was perfect! My husband had the beef tenderloin. It was cooked perfectly but he mentioned it could have had more flavour. We were full so we asked to take our desert which was a confetti cupcake with a macaroon and champagne gel. It looked beautiful, but for such a lovely dinner the cupcake was a bit of a disappointment. In conclusion, the service and food were very good. We would definitely book LURE again.

    We planned a New Years Eve dinner at Lure and called ahead to ensure there were options available if we did not want the 4 couse meal. We were told there would be a limited options menu also available in the dining room so we went ahead with our reservation. On New Years Eve we were told there were no options except the 4 course meal, the first serving had to be agreed upon our table of 4 and shared amongst us. When we ordered our main we were told that the tenderloin could only be ordered med rare or well done, no other options. Between those things and a mandatory tip of 18% per table, we were disappointed.

    The meal quantity was little with regards the high price. Was expecting more food and good service, and unfortunately I received neither. My first visit to the restaurant and it shall be my last. Not impressed at all and very very disappointed.
