   I am a fan of Lussmans having also visited their restaurants in St Albans and briefly Oxford. However for a 3 course evening meal costing £120 for two, including one Aperitif and a pint and a half of beer, I expected a little more. I would have liked to see bread / dip on the table. The food was fine but not exciting. Portions were relatively modest in size and that included the required additional sides. Puddings took a while to arrive. Staff were friendly but equally I was aware that they were anticipating finishing by 9:30.

   Hello Mike Nice to hear that you support what we do. Pricing across the continues to go up regardless off what part of hospitality you visit. I am afraid the profits are down and there is more difficulties ahead. I have no idea what you enjoyed but our average spend per head sits at £35 per person. We also still offer our great "locals" set menu for 3 courses for £23.95 - no chnage here from last year and availabel 7 days a week till 6pm. Not happy that the service was average so please so let me know directly what was not right. Thanks Andrei

   Always lovely here. Gorgeous breakfast. Great staff. Very friendly and efficient. So pleased now doing breakfast as well.

   Fish dishes very good, chicken a bit dry, desserts good. But too expensive for the food offering. London prices!!!

   This is my second visit - the food was wonderful but I think the staff struggled to keep up. We were seated fairly quickly but waited a long time to be served / I thought we’d be forgotten. That said once we were served we had a nice evening - the slow cooked beef is a winner / thank you

   I had confirmation of my reservation on 6 March and was therefore surprised that on arrival, before my allotted time, to be told that we called you to inform that you were being upgraded to the private dining room. This call never happened. That said, we duly waited to be seated in the private dining room. It transpired that a table was now ready for us in the main dining room toward the rear under a large window. Clearly not the private dining room but no explanation given as to why this was. Moreover, we were told the table had been modified and when queried, were told that an additional chair had been put at the end of the table. Clearly there was an issue with the restaurant being over booked despite having had confirmation of my reservation for over 3 weeks, so that in itself was disappointing. Additionally, the large window we were sat under had no blind and I sat for half of the dinner with my sunglasses due to the glare of the sun. It is unlikely that we will book again at a time of any celebration or key event such as Mother’s Day or similar. That said, all of the above took the shine off the lovely meal we all experienced.

   Lovely food, friendly service though a little slow. However it was Mother’s Day so expected. Really nice vibe, will definitely visit again.

   We normally dine at Harpenden but because in was Mother’s Day we decided to book a table at Woburn as my mum lives nearby The service was excellent as was the food the staff worked very hard on this very very busy day we enjoyed this first time at Woburn and would definitely be returning Staff and food excellent

    Given that it was Mother’s Day, and very busy, the staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating. You know when food is good, because everyone stops talking for a few minutes and all you can hear is “mmmmm” and “you have to try this”. Clear plates all-round, even from our 16 month old! Highly recommended.
