   We loved the food, the setting, but our service was not good. We appeared to be forgotten. We had arrived early, so I thought they were waiting to serve us at the booked time, but it was a total of 25 minutes before our High Tea was served. And only after I had to get up and ask our waiter. We had our drinks and water promptly and assumed the food would follow. Shame, but we will probably come back on another occasion. Lovely setting, great value.

   Restaurant? Does not serve cocktails and the coffee machine wasn’t working. (Start vs finish). Good start service wise. Mains: pasta dish was lukewarm warm. Steak was good quality and cooked to order. Two onion rings: served cold. Replaced with 2 cremated: 95 per cent batter, 5 per cent onion. Burnt to a crisp and therefore inedible. Worst meal in over 10 visits. Choose a nearby option, not Lyrebird. The bird has left its nest!

   This was our first meal at Lyrebird after many years of coming to QPAC for shows, and can’t believe we have been missing out!! Wonderful service, wonderful food. We will make Lyrebird our pre show dinners from now on. Terrific thank you!

   Food was delicious. We were late because of traffic & the food came out fairly quick as we had a show to see. They accommodated us really well considering we were so late

   What a way to start our night out. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with explanations. Beautiful food presented well. Not one complaint at our table. A leisurely meal spent enjoying conversation, food and wine.

   They forgot about us. Arrived early, with more than the recommended time to eat before our show. Served entree and glass of wine then forgotten about. Other tables were served their meals and we weren't even offered another glass of wine (or our glasses taken away). Other tables had finished dessert by the time we are able to flag a waiter. Were told another 10mins, which wouldn't have given us enough time to eat and get to our show. We informed on the show time on the booking and in-person. We had to leave and get a quick bite from a food truck outside QPAC, with Lyrebird staff saying "sometimes we get it wrong". This was a dual special occasion for our family, and very stressful to manage. Ate there a few years ago and had great service and food, service last night was poor, and I can't comment on the food because we didn't get any!!

   I cannot fault the high tea at Lyrebird before a show. The food is delicious, it feels like a special treat, the service is prompt and we love it.

   This is the third occasion on which I have enjoyed a High Tea at The Lyrebird. I am always more than happy with the service and food provided, particularly as I am a pescatarian. Management is always kind to enough to provide some sandwiches that suit my particular choice of diet. I have no complaints whatsoever.

    Very was nice place however, when I asked about the set menu, which is here on open table I was told that I went to the wrong website or an old website. When I said, the only way I can book a table is through open table and I looked at the menu on open table and it clearly has a set menu option, I was told that it no longer existed. The management on the night was quite rude about it. I won’t be going back here.
