   Pricey and our food was ‘meh.’ Service was excellent and we were seated very quickly. We went home hungry and ordered takeout.

   Everything was wonderful! Food and drinks were very unique. Beautiful place and loved the fact that music was not loud as it seems to be the case in most places these days. One tiny issue I had was how long cocktails took to get ready which discouraged us to order a second drink.

   Visited the Distillery District and booked a table for two at Madrina. We had never been to a Tapas restaurant before, and this definitely set the bar high. Our favourite dish was the IBÉRICO PORK SECRETO STEAK — delicious. Other highlights were TORTILLA DE PATATAS and CATALAN CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS. Note: I have a shellfish allergy, so we didn't have any of the dishes that have those items.

   Fantastic meal. We enjoyed the NYE pre fixe menu and wine pairing and it was superb! Some of the best Spanish tapas since I’ve been to Barcelona. Will definitely be back.

   It's a different experience for Spain cuisine . We just return from Barcelona so it was a different take on Spain dining at Madrina. We like the vibe, music was a little high but hey why not, it was the holiday season. Going back for birthday celebration.

    The first impression was disappointing—the hostess was very unfriendly. On the positive side, our waiter was friendly and attentive. The lobster was excellent, but we didn’t enjoy the rest of the food. The octopus was dry, and the mashed potatoes served with it were overly sour. Overall, the experience didn’t feel worth the price. The tables are packed too close together, and waitstaff are constantly moving behind you, which felt intrusive.
