   Amazing food and drinks. Will definitely return in the future. Risotto barley was very nice. Delicious sour is one of a kind :)

   A fabulous spot for early week lunch with friends. The service was just spot on, with knowledgeable information about both the food and wine, and a friendly but discreet approach. The food was lovely (rock flathead all round) plus delicious sides followed by the perfect coffee. The location is great with parking available at lunchtime, and the restaurant is beautifully finished, with elegant decor and intimate tables placed just far enough away from each other that you are not forced to listen to other conversations. We will all definitely be back again!

   An outstanding experience, food was exceptional. Portions perfect, classic French dishes with a good dose of contemporary flair. Prices were fair, it would encourage me to dine out more regularly with this quality. My only feedback would be the space was cold, the open fire was on but it didn’t warm the dining room.

   Understanding that the business is still relatively new, the restaurant sadly lacks leadership and experienced heads. When there is one champagne only on the list you can’t run out of it on a Friday night. Food needs to be better considered for portion size, for the ability to share, for temperature and for simple execution. The food is much too cheap and basic for the time the kitchen seems to take to do anything. Our waitress was at all times positive and thoughtful and did her best but she was clearly let down by the management of the floor and the kitchen crew. Interestingly no manager or host seemed to feel the need to walk the floor and feel the clear vibe that there were issues around the place. Would struggle to want to go back sadly.

   Magnificent pommes mousseline and steak frites (and we’ve tried so many around Melbourne). Lovely service, especially from staff member at Sunday lunch with (I think) a New Zealand accent.

   Well that was great!! Delicious food, we had the steak frites, beef cheek croquettes & carrots. Highly recommend starting in the bar for a cocktail, blackcurrant Americano was tasty and then into the bistro for dinner. Such a beautiful space. Love that this is now in the area!!
