                                                                                        On one of the busiest nights of the year we found the staff to be very pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant was full but not too noisy for us to speak normally to reach other. Our waiter got to us promptly and have us updates when the food didn't come s quickly as he thought it should. The food was excellent. Commendations to the kitchen! Definitely will return.

                                                                                        Christmas Eve dinner at Magia. I knew going in this was not going to be perfect as I have dined there before and had mixed experiences but it was better than driving into the North End where parking is often an issue. The ladies at the check in station were welcoming and efficient. We were seated right away with no issues. Took a bit of time before our server arrived to welcome us but it wasn't too long of a wait so no big deal. She was so sweet and gave us very good service. Now for the food, which is where Magia failed this time. My salad was dressed with way too much dressing, so I handed it off to my husband to finish. My fault...I should have asked for the dressing on the side. We asked for butter for the bread as we prefer that over the olive oil. We had to ask for it twice before we got it. The fried calamari was soggy and greasy. Not nice and light and crispy as it should have been. My husband ate it anyway. Our Chicken Parms were tasty, but they were not hot. They were lukewarm at best so we ate half and took the other half home. We had the Tiramisu for dessert. It was creamy however there was no coffee flavor to it. On the bright side the bread was good and they offered my favorite wine by the glass which is Caymus and it was reasonably priced. And the staff and our server couldn't have been nicer. So friendly and caring and they were ready to make things right for us. I'm willing to give Magia another try in the future, but not on a busy night. I'll go when the restaurant isn't as busy and the kitchen isn't as overwhelmed with the hopes that it might make a difference.

                                                                                        We dined there for Thanksgiving. My girlfriend had the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. I sampled a bit. The turkey was moist and delicious and the stuffing some if the best I have ever had. I had the veal chop parmigiana and it was perfection. Our server was amazing and so personable. I can’t recommend his restaurant enough,
