The redo of the Magic Lamp is very impressive! I love the vibe. Cocktails and wine list were great. Menu itself had lots of nice choices but our meals were only fine and really not very very flavorful so I couldn’t recommend them: caesar salad, lobster mac and cheese, and Chilean sea bass. The desserts however were amazing! At this point, I wouldn’t go back for dinner but I would go back for drinks or dessert while watching the performers or sitting by the fire.

Fantastic ambiance! The singer was top-notch—like Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, and Frank Sinatra all rolled into one. The food menu has changed a bit since my last visit, but it still offers excellent choices and everything was delicious.

I've been going to the Magic Lamp for about 60 years. So glad it's re-opened and it's beautiful and the dining experience was superb. It's unique and so enjoyable!

The food was OK. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was good. My fiancé had the prime rib and it was horrible. It was tough and super fatty. We brought most of it home and fed it to my dog, he liked it. $78 is a lot to pay for dog food. Generally, it was somewhat overpriced and our meal was not really up to par for the price.

I was disappointed this time. It was my Birthday, I requested a front booth, they said we couldn't be seated up front it was reserved for partys of three or more, this is new, it was my Birthday. We have never had this problem before, we have been LONG time customers, we were seated in a booth in the back, waitress was nice, drinks and appetizers were good. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare, my husband ordered the new york strip, both were overdone, an over done filet is like liver, the last time we were there the filet was done perfectly, it was the best I had ever had. We don't think we will be visiting anytime soon.
