MAHANIYOM is a tapas/family-style Thai cuisine that brings an exceptional dining experience
to our guests by serving meticulously home-cooked style, authentic Thai cuisine made from
scratch and handcrafted cocktails in an unpretentious feel-like-home atmosphere that
reminisces our home Thailand. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. We are very small, we highly recommend reservations during peak hours! Reservations and dine-in guests are designated up to 90 minutes. If you are running late, please call us at (617) 487-5986. We hold the table up to 15 minutes past the reservation time.

    Very nice restaurant overall. Small, nice ambiance, more quiet than most. Excellent service, Excellent food- just a small thing: one dish was very hot even though we asked for mild: make sure you are precise with your request. I am sure I could have sent it back but I hate to do that. We will definitely continue to come here!

    We had the Massaman Curry and the Chicken Ka-Praw. Both dishes were wonderful. The spices Mahaniyom uses make the dishes extremely flavorful. They were slightly spicy, but not so hot that the heat drowned out the other flavors. We can't wait to go again!

    Today was cold. Wish they had some hot tea available. Coming in from the cold and only having beer, cocktail or spirits with ice? Food was great and staff were friendly, though very very busy. I liked the food as each was carefully prepared.

    We enjoyed a number of dishes: Larb Ped (duck), Jor Puu (crab, etc), Pad Paa (very spicy!), classic pad thai and some others. Very enjoyable overall.

    Really excellent food, drink, and service. Excellent and fun atmosphere. The servers and bar tenders were attentive and took care of us, but also seemed genuinely happy to be there. Had good rapport with their regular customers, but were equally good to us newbies.

    I stumbled on this place accidentally when the place I usually go to in Brookline was relatively booked, and I’m so glad I did! The food is outstanding, the cocktail, sublime, and the weight staff were friendly and extremely efficient. This is a gem of a place, not too big so you can have a nice conversation while you are enjoying the delicious food, I will be back!
