    Food was outstanding- every dish well crafted and offered a unique take. Outdoor dining area spacious and comfortable. Service needs some attention. The team service model wasn’t smooth, and at times we had to ask for attention. Pacing of dishes a little rushed.

    Very impressed with the service and creativity of the dishes. Love the Panamanian - Asian influences of the food. One of our best meals in Panama. Ernesto was our server and he was great. We loved the amberjack tartare, the chicken soup, the chili bon wonton and the sea bass in a curry sauce.

    Really great experience best meal we had in Panama City hands-down. I was expecting much smaller portions and higher prices, but it was actually quite reasonable. The strawberry and cream dessert is a must!!!

    Excellent and engaged staff who were happy to explain the tasting menu dishes. Wine pairing was unique, interesting and complimented each course.

    They deserve a Michelin star - food is creative, tasty and nicely presented. Plus cool place and crowd and good service. In fact, they are really underpriced, if to be honest.

    Wir haben in Europa, Amerika, Australien und Asien schon in vielen Sternerestaurants gegessen. Deshalb haben wir uns für das Restaurant Maito in Panama entschieden. Es war die letzten 2 Jahre die Nr. 6 unter den 50 besten Restaurants in Lateinamerika 2024 war es Nr. 14 . Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, sondern waren extrem positiv überrascht. Wir hatten das Degustations Menü mit 9 Gängen und einer Weinbegleitung . Es war eine absolute Geschmacksvielfalt, die wir nicht erwartet haben. Es war kein Gang dabei, der uns nicht begeistert hat. Die begleitenden „ Weine“ starteten mit einem speziellen Bier, es waren lokale Weine und internationale dabei , auch ein Rum . Alle Weine top temperiert. Falls ich wieder mal in Panama bin, werde ich in jedem Falle wieder hier essen gehen. Das Personal war erstklassig und erklärte uns jeden einzelnen Gang . Der Punktabzug für das Ambiente waren fehlende Tischdecken, laut Aussage ist dies seit der COVID Pandemie so, da viele Gäste sich die Hände an den Tischdecken gesäubert haben und deshalb von Regierungsseite verboten wurden

    Visitamos este restaurante con altas expectativas, motivados por las múltiples recomendaciones que recibimos. Sin embargo, en general, la experiencia no logró cumplir con dichas expectativas. 1.Servicio: Lamentablemente, el servicio fue limitado y desorganizado, dando la impresión de que el lugar estaba desatendido. Esto impactó negativamente la experiencia general. 2.Comida: Un aspecto que rescato es que la comida fue muy buena, con fusiones interesantes que reflejan creatividad y calidad en la cocina. Este punto fue, sin duda, lo más destacado de nuestra visita. 3.Ambiente: El ambiente resultó ser frío y poco especial, sin elementos que lo hicieran particularmente acogedor o memorable. Recomendaría que quienes han escuchado sobre el lugar lo prueben, ya que puede ser que hoy simplemente no haya sido el mejor día para el personal. Es posible que en otra ocasión la experiencia sea más acorde con la reputación que tiene.
