   Maizano has officially set a new bar for brunch in the city. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was impeccable. The warm greeting from the hostess, the attentive service from our server, and the personal touch of the manager stopping by to check in all contributed to an elevated dining experience that felt as welcoming as it was refined. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. We started with the chilaquiles with mole—an absolute standout. The rich, velvety mole had a depth of flavor that lingered; it was a dish that offered comfort and complexity in every bite. The taco y chaplain, which was a delightful fusion of flavors, while the tacos de papa were crispy, savory bites of pure perfection. Each dish showcased an artful balance of textures and tastes that spoke to the restaurant’s commitment to both quality and creativity. As for the drinks, Maizano’s cocktails are an experience in themselves. Spirit-forward yet refreshingly balanced, each sip was thoughtfully crafted to enhance, not overwhelm. Whether you're looking for a bold classic or something light and invigorating, their cocktail menu is bound to impress.    Wonderful experience!! Food and cocktails were unique and so delicious - flavors were complex and lovely. Service was fantastic and nice intimate atmosphere. Chef Alan and team simply knocked it out of the park. We can’t wait to go back!

   The decor, ambience was great. We celebrated my mother’s birthday and was very impressed by all the quality and flavors of the dishes. Cocktails were delicious and they have a great selection of tequila and mezcal. We ordered 7 out of 8 main dishes they har to offer. We didn’t order the white mole since it was 7 of us. We dined family style and everyone loved it. Our chef came out and introduced himself to us. We had shots with him and was very personable. He rotates the pre fixed dinner menu that I believe has 6 - 7 courses at a really good price. Coming back for that! If you want really good delicious Mexican food come here, if you like Javier’s or puesto, you would be doing your taste buds a huge favor of come by here with all your family & friends!

   This was an unforgettable experience. As soon as you enter, you are transported to another place- very chic, where you forget the noise coming from the lively Mercado. The customer service is superb. Our waiter was able to accommodate my parents by speaking Spanish and explain each beverage and food item in detail. He made wonderful suggestions that enhanced the dining experience. The hostess accommodated us in a place where I could place my baby’s stroller where it would not inconvenience other patrons. The best thing: I explained in my reservation that it was my mom’s birthday. She received a shareable and complimentary dessert with a hand written card by the staff. Who does that? Needless to say that it was an incredible experience.

   Wonderful service. Gorgeous and beautifully plated. Parking is challenging. Exceptional ingredients. However, in my opinion, there was a lot of thought that went into each dish but it was almost too many ingredients and over-sauced that hid the true flavor of the course itself. The pork shank could have been cooked more so it would fall off the bone, Spectacularly presented, mediocre in taste.

   Went with some out of town friends and booked a reservation for the chef’s tasting menu with non-alcoholic pairings. The ambience and service were great! The dishes were well explained and the pacing of the courses was well-timed. I wish there was more of a storyline/background on Chef that connected the dishes to each other. There was a little bit of it in the beginning of the experience, but less so in the end. Our favorite dish was the kingfish aguachile- beautiful presentation and flavors were harmonious. We also loved the branzino taco, but thought the sauce on the side overpowered the fish. Unfortunately, our dry aged steak course was a miss for everyone at the table. The cook on the meat was too rare and we felt like the other components on the dish were too bland or too sweet. Loved the dessert course at the end. The acorn jelly texture didn’t work with my palate, but the popcorn was so fun and loved the salty and sweet pairing. Overall, it was a fun experience, but we would probably order differently if we were to come back.
