   Our first visit to Major Tom and won’t be our last. Everything we ordered was excellent - shrimp and crab rolls, beet salad, steak frites, roast scallops and baked Alaska. Wonderful service.

   We have been here several times and think this was our last. The service was poor with zero warmth or smiles, we were celebrating a birthday. We asked her to take a photo of us when she had a minute. The restaurant was virtually empty as we went at 4pm…she didn’t ever take our photo. She forgot to order one of our appetizers and it came way after everything else. We asked for our kids burgers to be well done and they both came very pink. Our son has health issues so we had to wait 20 minutes for a new one. By then he wasn’t hungry as he’d eaten all his fries. The burgers said they had carmelized onions - they didn’t, just fresh sliced. There was no discount for the late appetizer or two undercooked burgers (my daughter just said it was fine she would eat hers, then didn’t cause it had Dijon which wasn’t in the description) the one being remade came 20 minutes late. This seems unusual in the restaurant industry and very discourteous to make so many mistakes and do nothing satisfactory to rectify them and ensure the client feels they had a good experience. I am over it. Won’t go back.

   Went here for an anniversary dinner. Grace was the perfect amount of attentive and made a wonderful first experience for us. Will definitely be back in the future to try out the dinner menu!

   Our waitress was incredible I forgot her name but she was amazing! I will definitely be back for events with my girlfriend! Food was delicious and the vibes was all there for our pushed back valentines date!

   I had an amazing dining experience at Major Tom! The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The sides were just as impressive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with an amazing view that made the experience even more special. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

   Major Tom is a must try just for the room and view alone. It’s dim lit with warm candle light and gorgeous views of the city skyline that make you feel like you’re in a big city. The potato donuts are a must, they are so simple but such a delicious savoury bite. The Hokkaido scallops, spaghetti, sweet potato are also very good. The real star of the show for me was the lobster and shrimp roll, it’s exactly what you’d want on a perfect fluffy piece of bread. For drinks, you must try the apple old fashioned, it’s like apple juice for adults.

    I had an excellent experience coming here. I have to say it reminded me so much of being in New York - I didn’t expect it to be so big and beautiful. The noise level is just right - the ambience is perfect and the food is probably some of the best I’ve had in the city. I also have to say the service was exceptional - just the right level of attention and everything was meticulous - they listened to our conversation and picked up on things we liked and made suggestions which was incredibly helpful. This has to be my new favorite spot and definitely a place I’ll bring family and friends when they come visit.
