   We arrived without a reservation and that was a bad idea. I checked online and found an opening in 30 minutes. Definitely make a reservation. Menu is great seafood and meat. Everything is as you go. We started with the mussels. Outstanding. I ordered the pasta di mare. Great lots of seafood and the shrimp were huge. Not a lot of pasta so very seafood forward. Loved it. My wife got the petite filet and a baked potato. Both cooked to perfection. She ended up bringing home half the potato it was so big. The chocolate brownie was decadent and we brought half of that home as well. Drink menu was very nice. Small selection of beers. But everything else was there. We shall return with a reservations.

   Our waitress, Taylor, was very understanding when we were discussing a food allergy. Shrimp appetizer, fried mozzarella, onion rings, chicken and mashed potatoes were all very good. The only issue was the carrots were very charred, black, and not edible in my opinion. Food was very good. We would return if we are in the area again.

   Malios on SPB was lovely. The ambiance was elegant. Cindy, our waitress, was attentive and knowledgeable. Service was excellent. The food was amazing! And came out quickly. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. The best place to celebrate a special occasion.

   The family has been in the restaurant business for many years..Malios named after the father of Derek who is the face of the restaurant and does his family proud . It’s as good as the original Malios which was Tampa’s favorite restaurant for many years and still is! The restaurants decor is warm, classy and inviting. The personnel is top notch. The owner greets everyone like they are part of the family. The food , well you will have to experience it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed !!! Teresa and Dennis Lopez

   Overall a beautiful experience! Just what we needed on St. Pete Beach—wonderful ambiance, attentive service, and absolutely delicious food. Everything came together perfectly for a relaxing and memorable outing. Highly recommend!

    My friend and I celebrated my birthday and Malios did not disappoint! For sure 10/10 from the ambience, food and drinks! We will definitely be back!
