   The food, drinks and service were incredible. We each had a cocktail and split the bread service, bacon appetizer (a must have!), wedge salad, pan seared grouper and jalapeño creamed corn. One of best meals in a while! Maria was our server and even though she was new to Malios she was knowledgeable, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

   Do not get the rack of lamb!!!! Service was good, but, didn't get things correct.

   Malio’s has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years. From when they were first on Dale Mabry Blvd and Azeele Street in Tampa and a Private club to when they moved to downtown in the beer can building. I’ve known Malio and his twin brother Carmine all these years and now his son Derek is running the restaurant in Tampa and Malio’s Beach house on St Pete Beach. He does a masterful job creating great food, ambience and a great wait staff and bartenders. It was my birthday and we were taken care of very well! Thank you Derek Ivarone!!!!!!!

   Mostly a good evening, but the wait staff can make or break a great dining experience, and our waiter truly let me down. I booked the reservation for five guests and dropped off my wife and daughter before parking the car. The other couple was already seated, but before I got to our table, the waiter had already told everyone about the specials. I never was informed of what they were. Ordering our drinks and meals went fine, and the pacing was good, but things fell apart when the entrees arrived. Everyone’s food came as ordered except mine. My petite filet was undercooked, and I was brought a side of potatoes when I asked for portobello mushrooms. The potatoes were whisked away and I was told the mushrooms would be right out. Ten minutes later I was still waiting, and the waiter pretty much ignored our table. I finally went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager. She was apologetic and promised to correct the problem. When we returned to the table, the mushrooms had arrived, but now the steak was quite cold. The manager asked if I wanted mine warmed up or replaced. Since it was undercooked to begin with I asked to just have it warmed up. Another ten minutes went by and no steak. The rest of my party had completed their meals when a NEW steak finally arrived, so everyone got to watch me eat. It seemed that our waiter was clueless about what was going on. And then to top off a disappointing evening, he asked us if we were interested in dessert. My friends ordered one to share, and I was talking with my daughter and wife about possibly sharing a dessert when the waiter just disappeared, assuming we weren’t interested. So - the decision was made for us. The manager was great about comping some of the items on the bill, but overall none of us were impressed. This is a high priced venue, and for that one should expect and receive impeccable service. We will likely go back at some point and give them another try, but it will be with a wary eye.

   Had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Malio’s! The ambience was great, and the food was fantastic— had the tuna sashimi appetizer, wedge salad, oysters, veal chop, and filet (done Pittsburgh rare) and all were fantastic. Waiter was great and the manager welcomed us, too. Will definitely be back- loving having such a nice place on St Pete Beach!

   This was our second time at Malio’s Beach House and it was total perfection again! The staff and our waiter were friendly and very professional! Everything from our appetizers and cocktails, down to our desserts, were spectacular! Many thanks to the owners for bringing such a wonderful restaurant to the beach, we truly appreciate it!

   The server was fine , the food was dissatisfying. The steak was extremely rare ordered it medium. the pasta had zero flavor the salad was ok. Lobster escargot completely disappointed.

   Our first time dining at Malios to celebrate our anniversary. The food was excellent! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the Shrimp Theresa was unbelievable. Great ambiance and service. We will definitely be back.

    So glad to find a great place so close by that is open late. Had the Veal Milanese & black grouper. Would definitely order them both again. Look forward to trying more items from the menu next time. Service was great!
