   Second time for me and my wife. Just love it! Gracious , friendly service, and the food is delicious and creative with a strong southern accent. Highly recommend it it’s only a block from the Studio Theatre so perfect for a bite before the show.,

   Amazing food each bite was delicious and you can taste every single ingredient in the dish. Chef very talented, fresh ingredients.

   My wife and another couple enjoyed a wonderful dinner this evening at Mallard which is quickly becoming our favorite restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance are outstanding. The chef consistently offers a creative menu which includes thoughtful cocktails and excellent wines. Thank you, Hamilton.

   Went here for a birthday dinner and they made the evening so special!! We also were a good fifteen minutes late and they were so kind and understanding about it. The food was INCREDIBLE— our group shared the hamachi crudo and pimiento cheese (AMAZING) and we ALL got burgers for our main. Best burger and fries I’ve had in DC. Wine and cocktail selection is great too, with decently priced bottles. Ambience is so charming and cozy, just gorgeous. Can’t say enough good things!!!

   Great addition to the neighborhood. Food is top-notch. Nice people working there. Outstanding beer list and fair prices. The new steak with fried oysters on top... wowsers.

   Our server Amanda was wonderful. Very friendly and efficient. Everything we ordered came out quickly. The entrees were delicious — I had the lamb, which was very tender — I would say it almost melted in my mouth. The foie gras appetizer was tasty but light on the foie gras. We shared the key lime dessert, which was very good. We would definitely eat at Mallard again.

   Outstanding food, and a surprisingly good value! Signature dish is not to be missed, and desserts are lovely and light to balance. Cocktails weren’t quite as good, but still decent. Great service and appetizers too!
