   When we arrived, it wasn’t that crowded but as we ate, the pace, definitely picked up. The food was good. They said it was mouthed spices, but it was definitely extremely spicy proceed with caution with the spice level. They also had wine that was not available on the menu, the conundrum in the white, which was OK.

   We had stopped coming this restaurant the last 5 or so years because of how bad it was run. It now has new owners and it is not any better. The food is so-so and the service not much better. I think they should have not bought it since they also had been managing the restaurant for many years.

   We have eaten at Marigold Madison previously and thought the food, service and atmosphere to be superb. This time did not disappoint. Tandoori Chicken and Shrimp Tikki were flavorful, ample sized portions and served hot. The garlic and aloo nams were served warm and fresh. Our server was attentive, responsive to our questions and polite. We will be returning soon.

   The experience was minimal. There really was none because we never got seated. There was no hostess at the front. I understand it was Valentine’s Day, but there were several other reservations that never got seated or the people left. I think next time they need to not over book reservations, and actually tend to the people that are waiting for an hour to be seated. also, I think it would help them if they had one hour and a half timeslots on major holidays like other restaurants do. So, that other reservations are not standing waiting for long periods.

   Their Valentine’s day service was horrible! They blamed open table for too many reservations, but at the same time were taking online and door dash orders while people who had reservations had to wait just to a an hour to make an order. They only had one person taking orders for the entire restaurant. I will never go here again!

   This was probably the worst restaurant experience of all times. It was a Valentine’s Day so I went there with my wife. We had a reservation at 7 PM. We reached there at seven. There was a line in front of us. When we asked the people in the line they told us that they also had the reservations and have been waiting. It was not untill about 740pm that we could talk to somebody. Then we were told that we did not have a reservation. I showed them the open table app where it was clear that the reservation was confirmed But somehow they couldn’t find it. In any case, they said wait here for a minute and we will find a table for you We waited for another 20 minutes, but still did not get a table So at 8 o’clock we left the restaurant. When we reached it at seven. There was nobody at the front desk. We had to find somebody and ask them around 740 as to what happened to a reservation. We could see that there were people sitting at the tables inside. Many of them were not being served. Some of them had to come to the bar was for a glass of water. This was totally bad management  Being a small business owner myself I do understand the impact negative reviews can have on a business. Even if, we could get a table at 8 PM, I would not have been writing this review. But I don’t think it is fair to me that because of the restaurants inefficiency my Valentine’s Day is ruined up. We live in Queens Creek then had to drive about 50 minutes to get to this place. We couldn’t even eat anything and then we had to drive 50 minutes back to home. This incidence also shatters my faith in OpenTable. I have booked couple of times with the OpenTable and nothing like this is ever happened. Not sure why the restaurant could not find a reservation, even though it was showing confirmed on the app. So I think OpenTable should also look into their operations.

    Went on Valentine’s Day. They severely overbooked themselves. We waited 1 hour and 10 min for appetizers and another 15-20 for main course. Wish we had time to enjoy the food because it was delicious but we had plans two hours after our reservation time and didn’t get our dinner until 15 minutes before we had to leave. Service incredibly slow. Wasn’t greeted for 20 minutes after we were sat. Then it was nothing for at least 30 minutes. Yes, we could have, maybe should have gotten up and left, but where are you going to eat on Valentines Day that’s not a drive through fast food place? The server was nice but didn’t seem concerned about the wait times. I think they only had 2 cooks. Will we go back? I’d like to because the food was excellent. But soooooi disappointed about our first visit there. Ambiance was good although super loud. Prices were ok but $5 for an ice tea that was never refilled is too high. Hope next visit is better.
