MariPili is a James Beard nominated Galician themed tapas bar providing a casual environment for elevated Spanish bar food and homestyle cooking. MariPili is named for chef's aunt and the bar and walls are adorned with Galician art and keepsakes. Estrella Galicia is served on tap and there are a wide variety of tapas options like the pan seared lingcod 'Bacallau a Mariñera' and Spanish classic 'Croquettas de Jamon' as well as our seasonal tasting menu Tapear Tapearei which includes many bite sized courses reflecting a more traditional tapas experience. Honoring the chef's blended heritage, the wine list features a selection from Spain and Washington exclusively.

Ordered Seattle Restaurant week prefixed, which included five courses and was $65 for the meal and $35 for the alcohol pairing. Food was in smaller portions than expected, but the dishes were prepared with thought and intention. Each dish was flavorful and enjoyable. The chef nailed it with this menu. Alcoholic pairing was good value for the $35 cost. While the dishes tasted excellent; there wasn’t enough food and our group left hungry. This led to us walking to get food elsewhere, which wasn’t expected with a $65 coursed menu.

Service was quite slow, we only ordered a few dishes and somehow it took 2.5 hours for everything to come out. Food was ok - nothing I feel like I would come back for. I remember it being better when I was there a year ago.

One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle for tapas. Food is excellent and the menu offers a wide variety of delicious options! (Yes we have tried them all!) Service is excellent as well!

This was our first time here we couldn’t have been happier. The top of us were unbelievable. And we had a custom pairing of wine and drinks with each course. The service was impeccable and the chef is amazing. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anybody looking for an amazing evening and a wonderful date night.

This was our first time here and sad to say, it was not great. The food just didn't measure up. Most of the dishes were just 'okay', with one being actually awful and only one that I would call good. (we ordered 7 different dishes to share so we had a fair amount to taste from). Stay away from the Lingcod it was actually terrible. The only high point is that when we had to wait 30 minutes for our reserved table, they comped our drinks which was unexpected and very kind. Sadly, it didn't make up for the bad food. We would not return and I couldn't actually recommend it either. So many other amazing restaurants in this city.
