The Market Hotel is your new friendly neighbourhood Ballarat pub and restaurant. We've recently undergone a full renovation and we're excited to show off our awesome new vibe.

Grab a seat in our beer garden and soak up the sun while you dive into our fresh new menu. Thirsty? We've got you covered with a vast range of beers on tap. And for the sports enthusiasts, we've got two pool tables and a front bar with large screen tvs to keep you entertained.

We have 2 function rooms now available for bookings for private functions. Contact us for more info.

We are happy to provide full disability access for all patrons at The Market Hotel & Pub Ballarat. We have a ramp fitted at the front door which allows same level access to the entire venu.

Been wanting to dine here for a while but overall disappointing. Service and ambience good but food was ordinary, not as good as lot of other pub options. Probably won’t go back.

It was really lovely! Cocktails weren’t over priced and the meals were lovely. I really liked the menu.

Loved the venue. Renovations are very, very pleasing. Staff were friendly and obliging. Value of our Seniors meal was great. Bit of confusion with glass of wine at lesser price, along with Seniors meal. Perhaps we should have enquired what wine was listed at the price. Will willingly recommend venue, especially on a Thursday and Friday for special meal deal.

Great food, good atmosphere. We sat outside which suited us, though some heaters might have been good. My husband loved the steak. Only thing was the picnic tables are not made for a bigger person, we got a chair which worked. Staff super friendly.
