   Very enjoyable food, service and ambience at the Marquis of Lorne. And the Apple &almond crumble for desert topped off the meal. We are new to Collingwood but shall definitely be back for more.

   What a fabulous lunch at The Marquis of Lorne. The was delicious…Pork Belly, Chicken Schnitzel and Pippies with Chorizo and Butterbeans The service was excellent

   The Marquis of Lorne is a classic old pub, effortlessly cool and authentic. The history is evident throughout the building, it’s good to have different styles on each of the three floors. The menu and wine list covers all the usual options. We ordered three meals all of which were high quality and enjoyable.

   Fantastic experience celebrating a birthday with friends. Could not have enjoyed it more and the very special kind and authentic attention received by staff just made everything all the more fun!

    Disappointing Experience – Overpriced & Rude Service I had high hopes as usually MoL is a great experience, but unfortunately, I was a letdown. The portion sizes for the mains were shockingly small for the price, and the food itself was just average—nothing special or worth the cost. Service was another issue. Our waiter was rude and seemed rushed, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. There was no warmth or effort to make the experience enjoyable. Overall, definitely not worth the money. There are plenty of other restaurants offering better food, better service, and better value. Wouldn’t return.
