                  Great reviews , an Oyster happy hour and 10 min walk to a 7 pm Broadway show made us try this place for a 5 pm reservation. This was the week before Christmas and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. Started with a dozen plump Blue Points @ the amazing price of $18 before happy hour ended at 5:30. Followed with yummy not-to-garlicky escargot with perfectly toasted crostini and a smooth liver pate accompanied by a refreshing French Fume Blanc. Finished with a perfectly cooked charred octopus which could only been better if there was more than one tentacle. And those were just the appetizers!

                  Marseille is a classic! Elegant menu, wonderful staff and a very enjoyable atmosphere. We had the mussels and Croque Madame, and pot de crème for dessert. All delicious and beautifully presented.

                  The service at Marseille is very good and the ambiance great. One in our party of four got sick after eating the bouillabaisse and had a rough night. Bouillabaisse aside we really liked the food.

                  I visited Marseille on a Sunday at 5 pm. The restaurant was full, which is always a good sign. The staff was very pleasant, and the food was good. Happy oyster hour is definitely worth it.

                  Restaurant is pretty, service was adequate. Some chaos at the front desk that left a lot of people with reservations waiting next to a cold door. Food was good but portions were exceptionally large for all courses. 2 people could easily split dishes and be stuffed. I wish the waiter had been more transparent about that. Felt like a lot of waste at the end. All in all a good spot for dinner.

                  Bottomless brunch was great! Nice selection of entrees and very delicious (and strong) mimosas. Not a bad deal at all for NYC and well worth what you get. Would recommend and would love to go back again for brunch soon!

                  delightful experience at a wonderful restaurant. A waitress could not have been more lovely. The ambience was great and the food was terrific. We really enjoyed the bread basket and it was just an overall terrific experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
