   Terrific service. We had to make a show and the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive. The food was delicious, the atmosphere classic and inviting. This restaurant never disappoints, and I will certainly come back again and again. It’s a gem.

   This was our second time dining at Marseille, having dined there last year during our annual visit to NYC to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. That visit was very good, and this visit was excellent. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. I had the risotto to start, and the shortribs for my main course, and my companion had the salmon. All were done to perfection, and perfectly seasoned. For dessert I had the fresh berries with cream, and she had the raspberry sorbet. A couple of the things I liked about the restaurant was they did not have a laundry list of specials, which can be annoying to me. They also don't have a "diner" menu that encompasses four or five pages. It's just two pages, which tells me they prefer to concentrate on what they do well. Our server, Emilio, was attentive and knowledgeable, and I didn't spend an inordinate amount of time trying to get his attention. If your in Midtown Manhattan, and you wish to dine in an excellent French restaurant, go to Marseille.

   As a serious foodie, the resto was great. It reminds me of a classic French bistro, and the service and ambiance was excellent. I had the salmon, perfectly cooked on a bed of spinach and lentils, and the wine list was impressive, with an extensive French list but also other country wines- I opted for a Rioja, but with all the choices was challenging to decide. Great meal and vibe.

   I love the this restaurant. Busy and noisy but still had that French bistro feel. Hangar steak was beautifully prepared. Edith Piaf on the speakers was a nice touch!

   I almost ALWAYS love dining at Marseille. I love the fact that the menu changes, the service is gracious, the food is clearly executed with precision and oversight; it is a subdued but stylish exception in midtown, and therefore my go-to. Yesterday’s brunch was thoroughly enjoyable. Grace was a lovely server.

   We made this reservation weeks in advance and were sat outside which put a sour note on our whole evening. We would've found another restaurant to go to but because we had tickets to a Broadway show, we did not have time to find somewhere else to eat. Be aware if you sit outside, it will be noisy and cold and not the experience you expect.

    Love everything about this restaurant. Delicious food, energetic vibe and we made it to our theatre in time. Highly recommend!
