Small cozy dining area upstairs. Has a downstairs that we did not see. Excellent server, Kim. Good food in a relaxed atmosphere!

I would not choose this restaurant to attend any nearby event. We made a 6:00 reservation to have a nice dinner before attending an event at the garden. We got there a few minutes early and the tiny , tiny, vestibule was already full. It continued to get jammed with more and more people, all with reservations, until it was a health and safety hazard. God forbid if we had to get out quickly. There were also more people waiting out in the freezing cold. We all stood there and NOBODY got seated. By the way they had a sign they were not serving dessert that night. Sounds like they knew they were ridiculously overbooked and wanted people out as soon as possible. We began to see how it would go, earlier diners trying to squeeze past everyone, late seating, all at the same time, stressed out waiters, cooks, and staff, and wolfing down our food to make the show. Not exactly what we had in mind. We ended up leaving before anyone was even called and went to another place. I loved the food at this restaurant but it looks like they don’t care much about the experience their patrons are having. Never again!

The restaurant was overbooked and there was a line of diners waiting out the door to check in for a reservation. In passing we saw a server and asked her about recommended dishes so we could order as soon as we sand down to get to the show on time. The rack of lamb was not stellar, sadly, the stuffing detracted from the taste of the lamb, rather than complemented, and the overall texture was tough. The limoncello pappardelle was DELICIOUS and made up for the lackluster lamb. The seafood was fresh and and sauce was perfect. The table beside ours was served chicken Marsala instead of chicken saltmiboca, they were told “that is how we make it here” but a manager, but it was clearly a Marsala sauce. Incidentally, the Marsala was a beautiful Marsala, but it was not a saltimboca

Massiminos food and service is incredible! We ordered the cheese board and penne alla vodka which were amazing. Our waiter, Jack, went out of his way to deliver amazing service! This place is a must try if you’re in the North End🍝

We were very disappointed with the service and food this visit. We’ve eaten there several times in the past and it was very good but not this visit. There was a party of 16 that was seated right next to us and I think we were just forgotten. Service was poor, the food wasn’t great (we both got the lamb chops) and the noise in the downstairs was incredibly loud. We’ll go again but will request to be seated upstairs.
