   This was my first time dining at Maestro’s. Service was outstanding. I had the 8 oz filet, lobster Mac n cheese and butter cake. They all were pretty good. Overall I enjoyed my experience.

   In one word, EXCEPTIONAL! Service was relatively swift considering it was the first day of restaurant week. Recommendations would be the crab cakes, lobster bisque, lobster mac and the butter cake.

   I am a long time patron and I can only say Mastro’s has gone downhill, way downhill. My wife and I both ordered 8oz filets. They came out grey, no char and what I would call medium to medium well. We asked for medium rare. The meat was tasteless and should be ground into a hamburger with some bacon.! The Mambo Salad, house specialty was served dry with too much cheese but very little salad dressing. As there are numerous steak houses in Chicago, I will not be returning to Mastro’s in Chicago or Scottsdale which had been in our annual rotation.

   Great service by GIGi! I highly recommend sitting in her section in the bar/lounge area. She was spot on with recommendations and never let us want for anything! The food as always was delicious and did not let us down. Always the first place we go when in town!

   Mastro’s is one of my favorite restaurants but this visit was off. Food wasn’t the norm

   Noise was a lot, service was slow (even though it wasn’t very busy), but at least she had lots of helpers. For ambience, This place caters to the old fashioned business man crowd / think upscale hooters. Food large, sides waaaay overpriced, drinks were poorly built. I would not go back or send anyone I know.

   This is an excellent and outstanding place for any special occasion. The food and service are a cut above the rest. Make sure you ask for GiGi. She makes sure that you are well taken care of. Great suggestions off the menu. I have dined at several well known and awesome restaurants and I must say GiGi has spoiled me! Great evening, awesome steaks and the Lobster Bisque is stellar! You will be happy you went.

    Everything was excellent I’m so glad I decided to try it again since the one in New York was so good. My girlfriend and I just love the live entertainment during dinner the lady was fantastic. Definitely a 5/5 from me!
