   Our server seemed disinterested , including his hands in his pants pockets as he visited our table , food took over an hour to receive, and it was cold Very noisy ! Even though we were there at 5:15pm

   Match is a favourite restaurant & we enjoy the food, service, prices and calmer ambience than a regular pub. Our server tonight was friendly & helpful. We were told that the kitchen was short staffed and unfortunately service was slow. We will go back though & hope the issue of slow service was an unexpected problem.

   Food was good quality but there just wasn’t enough. I’ve had the same meal before and I found the portion sizes were larger the last time I was there.

   When I booked we weren’t informed happy hours had been changed. Had always been until 6:00 now changed to 5:30. We were disappointed.

   Oddly, the first 2 items our table order were not available, the server was unaware, when a replacement was requested, it too was not available. The third item was available…. The wait staff’s apologies were accepted. The food that eventually arrived was good,

    I'm usually pretty tolerant and I know most restaurants try hard to please their customers, but I'm very disappointed with my experience. We had to wait almost 50 minutes for our food and when it did arrive it was cold. Three out of the four dishes we ordered were cold and the other just lukewarm. Our waiter never checked to see if we were doing ok or if we needed anything else. Had to call him over for more water and for salt and pepper. Very disappointed because this was not a cheap meal and I think there should be some quality of food and service. Would not go back again. Better places with better prices.
