   The French onion soup was delicious l, my husband’s ribeye was great, and our server was excellent. But, you have to purchase bread if you want it ($11 for a small basket), the Cresti di Gallo pasta had a strange texture and flavor, and the Fruits De Mer seafood pasta was extremely “fishy” and only had mussels and calamari, no shrimp, though it was a listed ingredient. We could not eat either pasta, but they did take them off the check. Just stick with the soup and steak and it’s a great place to eat with great service.

   The service was phenomenal. The food tasted divine and the atmosphere is just lovely. I highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back.

   This is a lovely place to get good food, whether sitting at a table with friends or at the bar for an upscale burger. We always have great food at Maverick.

   I always love dining at Maverick and will choose them over other venues most times. I am looking forward to seeing functional roll down shades against the western sun. From previous times, the drinks delivery lacked synchronization (a couple came, then 5 minutes later 2 more, then the last one) and service was very good, but somewhat disjointed. I had called ahead that we were celebrating a birthday and célebre was not able to get her dinner of choice and dessert was offered as a comp rather than as a celebration. It was a Monday, and busy. I don’t think they were staffed up to that level and they did mention it was unusual. None the less all staff was pleasant and helpful as always and did not rush in any way. Great to have an excellent restaurant downtown that is open on Monday!!

   I had a marvellous dining experience here last night by myself and was served by Jacoby, a nice attentive wait staff member who took great care in customizing my needs. The cocktail was fabulous (flour de lis), the French onion soup divine, the salad was dressed by a light touch with gentle flavors, and the coq au vin near perfect! A 4 out of 4 3 plate meal of the day that knocked it out of the park on a Monday! Will be back to try the other offerings on each day. Parking was very easy unlike other downtown venues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

   We had a great time! I had the hamburger with Truffle Fries and it was delicious. My wife had the Schnitzel and loved it. Our guests ordered the salmon and trout and both said it was terrific. Our waitress was Mia and she was excellent. Very nice ambiance as well.

   Gus, the sommelier, was so helpful- matched our taste preferences to an amazing, affordable Bordeaux that paired perfectly with their incredible Beef Bourguignon!

   Grat dining experience! Everything from be greeted, sat and waited on was outstanding! And the food was fabulous! Everything was perfectly cooked and the cocktails were top notch! We plan on visiting again very soon!
