The winery is a perennial fan favorite and is known for its high-quality, fruit-driven expressions, exceptional vineyard sites, family-style hospitality, and commitment to sharing the Joy of Wine with the world. We are very excited to present current releases from Rombauer Vineyards paired alongside a menu created by Chef de Cuisine Gabe Vancil, featuring recipes inspired by The Joy of Cooking, whose author is a member of the Rombauer family.

The food is exceptional. There’s something for everyone even if fish isn’t your favorite dish. There’s something filet mignon is better than that found in steakhouses. The chicken parm is phenomenal. There’s a delicious burger on the menu. The “worst” thing about Max Fish is trying to make a decision because everything is made to perfection! I’m never disappointed and I’ll say it’s the best restaurant in the Max Group!

Food was good, we enjoyed our dinners and cocktails. Just very expensive and overall a tad pricey in my opinion. Not a high end steak house or seafood place no need to charge those prices

Our experience was a really great one. We had a bunch of appetizers and they were all delicious. My fiancé got a huge stuffed lobster it was excellent and I got steak it was cooked perfectly and very good. Best part was our waitress Sarah she was phenomenal! She heard it was my birthday and gave me a free cookie and even had everyone sing . She was always right there making sure we were ok and she was a sweetheart. We were very happy with our experience here! Can’t wait to go back and we will ask for Sarah every time

The seafood app was excellent. We had a total of four people and the consensus was the entrees were just “ok”. The clam chowder is not good at all. The service was average to below average. Wouldn’t rush back.

Best Baked Stuffed lobster I’ve had outside of Newport!! It was great! Get the butternut squash risotto and the Brussel sprouts sides!

We have dined here many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. The last two times have been different. Food was lukewarm to actually cold and quality usually there was not. We will give them one more try and hope it returns to Max Fish.

Food, drinks and service were all exceptional. We were there for a late dinner after a concert on a very slow Tuesday. Realized that eventually we were the only ones there, and the waitress still encouraged us to stay for dessert.
