Eight years ago, Maximo Bistrot started as a restaurant for the thinking and execution of dishes from a wide range of techniques with the best of local ingredients; a warmful place that communicated our love for food. After a long and heartwarming road at our current location, we thought for the need of moving. Our new home, located at Alvaro Obregon 65 bis - a much wider space where gleams of natural light shine upon the surface-, is carefully assembled by Gabriela's meticulous look, and a kitchen built within Eduardo García's early memories, while living as an inmigrant in a barn in Ohio. Despite this big change, our principles initially founded remain the same: to offer food that distinguishes the best of local products.

    Incredibly drafty. Everyone had to wear a jacket inside. The candle flames were blowing sideways. The temp was around F 63 or 64 inside and the experience was negatively impacted.

    Gorgeousness interior, staff attentive but not overbearing. Food presentation was amazing and tasted even better. Lovely evening and would highly recommend.

    Absolutely lovely dinner. Well paced, interesting flavors, great service. Portions are fairly small, but that allows you to try more things, and after several huge meals in the city we were happy to finish our dinner and not leave feeling stuffed. We especially loved the baby corn with hollandaise. The restaurant has a cool ambience that you don't necessarily expect from online photos. All in all a fantastic experience, and one of our favorite spots in CDMX.

    We were stuck in traffic and they held our table vs other Michelin restaurants that don't The menu was very original and excellent quality

    The guacamole we had at a bar nearby was better than any of the food we had here. The drinks were good but that's about it. Wouldn't recommend!
