   The service was sub par. The appetizers were served before the drinks arrived. We asked for bread but it was forgotten. The server didn’t check back to ask if we needed more drinks (which we would have ordered another round), if the food was okay (was the meat cooked at the temperature we asked) or if we needed anything else. The runner went to the wrong table with our food. Come time for the check, the server told us sob stories about why we received less than baseline table service. We observed other tables with different servers getting proper service. But it’s Christmas so we still gave her 15% tip.

   At Xmas Eve dinner, we reserved one month in advance, we never got answer to email where asking for a table at the window, we were 4 and we got a naked table for 2 rearranged for 4 in Hard Rock Cafe style. We complained and the lady told us with rude manners that we could wait for almost an hour to get a table at windows, that she didn’t see the difference because the food would have been the same!!! I dreamt to give my family an unforgettable experience on the bay.. I definitely succeeded. We left.

   The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent and the atmosphere made it special. I have always loved this place for a special dinner.

   We were so disappointed! We have dined here for years for the holidays and other family occasions. The food and service had been great. Last night, the experience was not good. It seems like our server was gone for large chunks of time creating a problem with timing of our dishes being served. Examples, our appetizers came before we were served our drinks, we asked for bread and it did not come until our dinners came, we ordered salads to share, and the extra dishes, pepper etc did not come until our entrees came. My son did not receive a steak knife until way after his entree arrived. We ended up eating our entrees before our salads as they were getting cold. When we reminded our server or her helpers for what we were missing, they were not helpful. Overall, just a frustrating evening.

   This has long been one of our family’s favorite restaurants. The views are amazing! We came for Christmas Eve lunch. The kids meals are huge and the lunch entrees were a great value. Our server was attentive and efficient.

   Dining and service was wonderful. However, I called ahead and was given instructions as to how and where to enter. My only criticism is the handicap accessible. I have ALS and I’m in a wheelchair. At the street level the lift was not working and had to go up through the garage. Although the lift in the restaurant is helpful, it would have been more accessible to be seated at the same level as the restroom. Just a thought.

   Overall our experience was really good. We encountered a glitch when checking in, they did not have that our reservation was for a birthday celebration. I had to bring it to their attention and immediately we were seated as VIP for the celebration.. There was also a party with children which were a bit over engertic but calmed down about 20 minutes to being seated. The parents were apologetic after they ate. Linda was our wait person and she provided excellent service to us and made sure our son was acknowledged for his big day. It has been a while being there but clearly a tourist attraction and dining pleasure.

    Excellent dinner for me and my wife. We both had the surf and turf. The lobster was tender and succulent. The filets were perfectly cooked and very tasty.
